Research On The Environmental Design Of Public Retirement Space In Huaibei

Currently,the number of the elderly population is increasing and the proportion of the aged population is increasing year by year.The aging society is coming gradually.Accordingly,the elderly-supporting problem has become a social concern.However,due to the limitation of China's national conditions,social elderly-supporting institutions and facilities are seriously inadequate.Particularly,in small and medium-sized cities and underdeveloped areas,elderly-supporting has become a big problem.It is a great mission for the government and society to perfect the social elderly-supporting system and make the elderly have a comfortable elderly-supporting environment.With the national investment in recent years,the social elderly-supporting environment has been greatly improved.However,there are still many problems in many economically underdeveloped areas or small and medium-sized elderly-supporting institutions,which even cannot meet the basic needs of the elderly.Taking the environmental design of Huaibei's public elderly-supporting space as the research direction,this thesis analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings of the current elderly-supporting facilities and living space through the comprehensive information investigation of representative public elderly-supporting institutions in Huaibei.It also conducts the research and exploration on many problems,including the architectural planning and design of public elderly-supporting space,the design of indoor and outdoor environment,the integration of regional culture,etc.On the basis of the theory of humanized design,this thesis then takes the ergonomics of the elderly as the basis of the subject in combination with the physiological and psychological demands of the elderly to conduct a targeted design research on nursing homes' spatial layout as well as their multiple space environments including food,lodging,health,entertainment,and medical treatment;it analyzes the application of barrier-free design in the interior space of the elderly,and explores the intelligent design and emotional building of nursing home;it puts forward reasonable environmental design mentality and schemes according to the local regional culture and architectural characteristics of Huaibei;it explores the new mode of home intelligence for public old-age support from a comprehensive angle and various fields,creates the public elderly-supporting space with living quality in the new period,and explores the living mode and development direction of modern cities suitable for the aged so as to provide theoretical basis and countermeasures to better solve the design of Huaibei's public elderly-supporting space.
