Research On Indoor Color Configuration Based On The Visual Characteristics Of The Elderly

Due to the decline of physiological function and the scope of daily activities,the elderly is more dependent in indoor space than young people.As one of the most important parts of interior space design,color design is one of the most intuitive contents for people to obtain spatial information.Vision system is one of the physiological system of rapid decline,leading to the elderly in space activities need more vision care needs,but the majority of the elderly indoor space color is not ideal,the psychological and physiological needs of the elderly are not fully satisfied,the lower the elderly in space experience.This article analyzes the connotation of the visual characteristics of the elderly and the visual influence of the elderly firstly.Then,we comb out the collocation design and the design method of the elderly indoor space.Based on this,we also study the relationship between the elderly's visual characteristics and interior space color collocation.From the theoretical point of view,the author draws out the needs of the elderly for the color of the interior space and provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent research on the interior color arrangement.On this foundation,through the research methods such as experiment?research and interviews and other methods,we can find the color space of indoor space suitable for the visual characteristics of the elderly from the aspects of lightness,saturation and hue of indoor hard colors,which obtains the most real experience of indoor space color for the elderly,and set up a favorable basis for the collocation in the later period.Then,the paper concludes the principles of avoiding the visual fatigue,meeting the visual comfort and enhancing the function of color in the color space of elderly indoor space,and to sum up,The rules of color configuration in the elderly indoor space and the design strategy of indoor color configuration in different functional spaces.Finally,according to the design principles and Strategies of indoor color allocation,combined with specific user research information and design requirements,we completed indoor color configuration design practice that accords with the elderly's visual characteristics.
