Research On The Design Of Unpowered Mobility Assistance Products Based On The Behavioral Characteristics Of The Elderly

In 1999,China joined the ranks of aging countries,the number of elderly population sho wed a continuous upward trend.The attention of the design industry to the elderly products is also gradually improving,in order to effectively improve the quality of life of the elderly.This article is entitled "Research on the design of non-dynamic aid product design based on the behavior characteristics of the elderly".Taking the unpowered support product as the research object and taking the trend of aging society as the research background,this paper makes a theoretical study on the behavior characteristics of the elderly by literature survey,observation method and interview method,from the physiological function,Basie research is done on psychological characteristics and gestures.Secondly,we can understand the behavior of the elderly group by tracking and photographing typical users.Subsequently,we conduct a follow-up study of the behavior of the elderly in the use of walking products,and extract the behavioral elements in the use of walking aids.On this basis,the factors of human-computer interaction and product design are extracted to obtain the requirements of the use of the old group.Finally,we summarize the strategies of the design of unpowered walker,including four aspects:safety,ease of use,comfort and regulation.Then the behavior characteristics of the elderly group are transformed into the practical path of interactive behavior,and the product design is carried out for such a product,and the design practice of the aid product is completed.
