Research On Port Competitiveness Evaluation Of Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone

Since the 21 st century,with the continuous advancement of economic globalization and regional economic integration,the global industrial transfer process has accelerated,and the globalization trend of production resource allocation has been unstoppable.In this process,the foreign trade of our country got rapid development,China's port industry has entered the stage of leap-forward development,concrete manifestation in: rapid growth port number and size,the port enterprise management more standardized,and relying on the capital market to expand business areas and partners.And with the development of the One Belt and One Road,China's coastal and inland ports will usher in new development opportunities and historical missions,at the same time,the competition between ports will also become more intense.Over 90% of China's foreign trade cargo passes through ports.The importance of port enterprises and port economy to China's national economic development can be seen.In 2016,the total amount of GDP in Shandong was ranked as the third largest in the country.The cargo throughput of coastal ports was 14.29 million tons,which increased by 6.44%,ranking second in the whole country.The development of the port is extremely important for the economy of Shandong PeninsulaThis article first summarizes the research literature of domestic and foreign scholars in the three fields of research: Competitiveness Theory,Port Influencing Factors,and Port Competitiveness Evaluation Method;Then elaborated on the development plans,collection and transportation capabilities,and port area settings of the major ports in the four blue peninsulas of Shandong Peninsula,Qingdao Port,Rizhao Port,Yantai Port,and Weihai Port,and the basic operational capabilities of the port are analyzed in conjunction with relevant statistical data for the past ten years to show the development status of the ports;To study the influencing factors of port competitiveness,Constructed an evaluation index system for port competitiveness in terms of port location factors,production and management capabilities,port potential conditions,and port financial status.And determine the evaluation method;Comparing and analyzing the target ports and the competitiveness indicators of the 15 ports in China's eastern coastal main coasts and inland rivers,and then using the principal component analysis method to evaluate the competitiveness of the ports in the blue peninsula of the Shandong Peninsula,concluded that Shandong Peninsula is blue The rankings of port competitiveness in the economic zone are Qingdao Port,Yantai Port,Rizhao Port,and Weihai Port in turn,and the development advantages and disadvantages of each port are obtained;finally,according to the evaluation results,the countermeasures and comprehensive suggestions for improving the competitiveness of major ports in the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone are given.
