Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays, with the rapid development of science and technology, there is mutual influence between different fields and social ideology keeps pace with the times. As the carrier of the symbols of human history and civilisation, museum spaces have started to develop multi-dimensionally.At present, the exhibition spaces in museums cannot satisfy the experiential needs of people. The Museum of Wisdom, whose core is user experience,is being upgraded. The"Gene" of the contemporary museum is undergoing change. The focus of this paper is to explore the direction in which narrative spaces of Future museums may be extended.Based on the narrative space of museums under the new situation, this paper analyses the archetype, type, model and form that constitute the media of narrative spaces of museums, and summarises the mode of the museum s narrative space, namely, the mode of exhibition, mode of communication and mode of transmission.By breaking the understanding of traditional museum spaces, breaking away from the restraints and barriers of modern concepts and expanding the boundaries of "no longer limited" so as to extend the narrative space in the field system, the traditional linear model of exhibition is turned into a nonlinear "Nomadic Space".Balance is sought in the transformation of traditional museums and technological ethics. The role of augmented reality technology in the museum’s narrative space is explained through the dialectical relationship of "build and discard" in technology.Based on the analysis of the visual design of narrative spaces of museums, this paper summarises the visual design and construction of the mixed narrative space in the future, generating scenarios and situational design and puts forth the definition and tool method of the "Pan-Muse Plan" from which the visual design experiment of the Pan-Muse Plan is derived.Further summarised is the visual design research method of narrative spaces in future museums transforming visual communication design into multi-dimensional space.
