Renovation Design Of Suitable For Aging Interior Space From The Perspective Of Ethics

In the context of population aging,how the elderly enjoy their old age is not only a social issue,but also an ethical issue.With the increasing aging of China’s population,people’s demand for social pension,especially nursing homes,is increasing,and the pension model is gradually shifting from family pension to institutional pension,which has brought new opportunities and challenges to China’s pension cause and pension system construction.However,in the existing pension model and pension space design practice,it is difficult to meet the physical and mental needs of the elderly,pension space is faced with the awkward situation of "not suitable for the elderly",there are weak ethical awareness in the design concept,the design practice fails to meet the differentiated needs of pension space and other problems.In this paper,xi Yang Hong apartment in Hengyang City as the research object,from the interdisciplinary perspective of design and ethics,ethical standards and the concept of appropriate aging to guide and improve the existing pension space design.First of all,the concept,development and application of design ethics and age-appropriate design are elaborated through literature review,which provides theoretical support and conceptual guidance for the renovation of age-appropriate space,and provides reference and inspiration for subsequent design practice through the investigation of excellent cases.Secondly,through the analysis of the elderly group users through questionnaire survey,three groups of active elderly,disabled elderly,dementia elderly are summarized,and the physiological and psychological characteristics and behavior pattern characteristics of the three types of elderly are summarized,to provide a basis for meeting the design of differentiated needs;Thirdly,in view of the problems of insufficient facilities for aging and lack of ethical awareness,the principles of security,diversity,inclusiveness and universality for aging design are proposed to meet the target needs of personalized space design and humanized facility configuration through strategies such as reactivating vitality,arousing emotional resonance and triggering curiosity.Finally,hengyang sunset H apartment building as the retrofit design of the concrete object,respectively,the old man for activity,disability,old man,dementia,differentiation of three kinds of user needs,based on the function of the model space layout,space design,facilities configuration,and the optimal design of public space,in order to meet the needs of different types of old people,enhance the old people’s satisfaction and happiness,To realize the design requirements and ethical values of sunset red apartment.From the perspective of environmental art design,this paper is helpful for the cross study of design and ethics,and to solve the ethical deficiency and "unsuitable for the elderly" design problems in the apartment space for the elderly.With the differentiated needs of the three types of elderly as the target appeal,by following the ethical standards and the "suitable for aging" design concept,hengyang Xiyanghong apartment H building renovation practice,to achieve the habitable,livable,happy living,live in the suitable for aging goal,and provide a paradigm reference for the follow-up transformation of other buildings of the apartment.
