Research On The Construction Of The Project Management System Of The Newly-built Zhangji Railway Construction Project

In the process of building the railway construction projects,it is needed the collective cooperation of four participating parties,including owner,survey and design unit,contractor and supervisor.Due to the characteristics of a one-time project,the parties in the project have different positions and angles to do the work.In the construction process,the owner as the project owner and the responsible party has greatly different controlling method from the parties as beneficiary and construction party compared to other parties.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project,the owner needs to establish a sound management system,including quality,cost,schedule,and safety management system.To achieve scientific management procedures and decision-making,the owner should claim a clear management system requirement to their own party and the contractor.The new railway project of Zhangjiakou-Ji,ning was selected as a case in this study,to analyze the management of railway construction project process and the characteristics of project management.To be able to provided a comprehensive reference for the present large-scale railway construction,the four management elements of the railway construction project management were used as a starting point,then a series of properties,including the railway project quality management system,quality characteristics,security system,control procedures,project schedule management system,technical measures,monitoring and adjustment of project cost management system,technical measures,the project safety management system,job content,and supervision methods were described separately.
