In order to adapt to the changes and development of the times,social progress,and economic prosperity,railway transportation is constantly being reformed and adjusted as the largest railway transportation system in the land transportation system.The relatively long construction period of the tunnel construction in the railway construction project is complex,the project volume is large,and its schedule-cost control is more challenging.At the same time,the control of the cost of the tunnel construction project is also very important for the success of a project.This paper is based on the study of the progress management of the cost of a certain tunnel project in foreign countries and is of great significance to the schedule cost control of similar projects in the railway system.First of all,a detailed overview of a tunnel construction project in foreign countries project overview,project characteristics,project scope and so on.Read a large amount of relevant literature and data,and plan the progress of a certain tunnel construction project abroad from the construction of the project WBS work breakdown structure;determine the logical relationship,work order and overlapping relationship between the work;then estimate the project using the three-time estimation method Duration,calculate project time parameters;draw project Gantt charts through Microsoft Project software,identify key project work and key lines;finalize the project's total initial schedule.Secondly,analyze the project cost composition structure of a certain tunnel project in foreign countries,calculate the project direct cost and indirect cost,draw the project cost plan,and record the deviation between the actual construction cost and the planned cost.According to the progress and cost plan of the project,in the third quarter of 2017,the project department analyzed the status quo of the project cost and progress according to the previous construction log and project implementation cost record table,and correspondingly performed the existing cost overruns and progress delays.Analyze and propose improvements.Therefore,in the first quarter of 2018,the project department tracked the implementation of improvement measures using the earned value method.Through earned value cost-schedule management,drawing deviation analysis charts and performance analysis charts,we can clearly see that before the improvement measures are taken,the project costs overruns and the progress is delayed.The cost and schedule after the implementation of improvement measures are controlled within a reasonable range.After analyzing the implementation of the project,the project department also gave various safeguard measures on how to ensure the implementation of the project,hoping to provide reference for the cost and schedule management of similar railway tunnel projects.The research results of the dissertation can be used as reference value for reasonably shortening project duration,controlling project costs,improving enterprise benefits,accumulating wealth of construction companies,and increasing core competitiveness.
