In recent years,China's economy has entered a new normal of transformational growth.The steel industry is facing overcapacity and energy conservation and emission reduction policies.Steel prices fluctuate greatly,and steel companies face problems such as low organizational efficiency and serious brain drain.In order to improve the management situation,many companies have introduced performance management,but in the implementation process,they are full of contradictions and conflicts,which reduces the enthusiasm of employees,resulting in inefficient internal organization.Therefore,in the critical period of transformation and upgrading,optimizing research on enterprise performance management,improving employee enthusiasm and improving organizational efficiency are urgent problems to be solved.This article takes Z Steel Company as the research object and mainly studies the performance management of the company.Firstly,the related concepts of performance management are defined,and relevant theories are sorted out.Secondly,the current performance management work of Z Steel Company is analyzed.Thirdly,through the field research of the company's performance management,the problems reflected are summarized.After sorting out,the main problems revealed by the company's performance management work are: imperfect performance planning,unclear performance appraisal indicators,lack of performance feedback communication mechanism,and insufficient performance appraisal results.Then,the reasons for the company's performance management problems were further analyzed.Finally,according to the research and literature research,the performance management optimization strategies adapted to the future development of the company are proposed,including: formulating a complete performance plan,clarifying performance appraisal indicators,implementing effective performance feedback and communication plans,and fully applying performance appraisal results.This article combines performance management theory with management practice,and the proposed optimization strategy is conducive to improving the organizational performance of Z company,and also has certain reference significance for the same industry and other enterprises.
