With the continuous development of lean manufacturing concepts,lean management is not only an advanced manufacturing technology,but also a scientific method of corporate organization and management.As the world's largest cigarette producer,how does a tobacco manufacturing company conduct systematic and comprehensive reforms by studying lean management and managing ideas,means,systems,and standards,so as to achieve cost reduction,quality improvement,efficiency enhancement,inventory reduction,and an increase of the speed of response,is an important concern on the improvement of management in cigarette factories by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration.Y province is the province with the largest amount of cigarette production in China,and the impact of tobacco on the provincial economy is extremely significant.This article selects Y factory,the most representative cigarette factory in Y Province,as the research object.It starts with the deployment of lean management work by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration and Y Tobacco Industry Co.,Ltd.and then,analyzes the guiding ideology,goals and tasks of lean management,and also combines the current status of Y factory.Starting from aspects such as production,quality,equipment,cost,basic management,etc.,this article formulates and implements the measurements of lean management plan in Y factory.Finally,it summarizes and arranges the future steps of lean management in Y factory.As an advanced management concept,lean management has played a very positive role in improving the process,reducing costs,and improving quality in Y factory.The promotion and implementation of lean management in Y has certain reference significance for the implementation of lean management in manufacturing enterprises in China.
