Background As of March 2018,the official website of the China Food and Drug Administration(hereinafter referred to as CFDA)has shown that the number of approved health food products in China has exceeded 17,000,and the types of raw materials involved are very rich.There are also a lot of information related to products and raw materials.At present,commonly used databases for health food information inquiries are the "health food product database" published on the CFDA website and the "health food product database" of Pillage.These databases provide convenient storage,sharing,and analysis of health food information.platform.However,these existing databases have some problems that need to be improved:First,there is a lot of information duplication in the product database,which leads to inaccurate statistics and quantity information;lack of information leads to incomplete search information;unreasonable information classification leads to the inability of sub-item refinement of formula composition,etc.Blocks high-quality information statistics,queries,mining,and analysis.Secondly,due to the continuous introduction and change of regulations and the complexity of the review over the past two decades,there has been no unified list of raw materials for health foods so far,leading to a lack of more comprehensive standardized research on health food raw materials,use basis and quality standards.Without a unified source,some raw materials have no basis or standard,which is not conducive to the standardized management and rational application of health food ingredients.Third,the common lack of existing databases is that there is no literature research on the raw materials for health foods.The reason is that the quantity of the materials for each flavor of raw materials is large,and the quantity has been constantly updated.The research is difficult;the literature on past health foods is analyzed.It is mainly manual search and analysis,which takes time and effort,and there is no systematic new method for the study of raw materials for health foods.The development declaration and review of health food products are based on raw materials.Due to the lack of literature databases,the information analysis of health food products,raw materials,and raw materials literature has stagnated at a low level.Purpose and significance Based on the above situation,this study intends to establish a"health food product-raw material-raw materials literature database"with ideas for research and development of health food products and features of Chinese medicine:(1)Clarify the number of approved health food products,analysis of product formulations,The health care function and formula features facilitate the quick and accurate query of information and provide scientific basis for decision-making;(2)Consolidate and analyze the basis and standards of use of all health food raw materials as of December31,2017,and find through multiple channels and multiple channels.To summarize and summarize the types of raw materials that can be used for health foods,provide basis for regulating the management and rational use of raw materials for health foods,promote the promotion of national supervision and management,and increase the level of research and development of enterprises,and provide basic data for the national regulatory authorities to improve the list of health food raw materials;(3)Exploring methods for studying raw materials,providing reference for research on raw materials of health foods,and through classification and analysis of literature,it is helpful to quickly analyze and demonstrate the safety,functionality and quality controllability of products,and improve research and development of health foods.Reviewing and Approving Science Level and efficiency,provide a reference for the development of health food companies and state approval supervision departments.In short,the establishment of this database can make up for the shortcomings of existing databases,summarize the list of raw materials for health foods,build a literature data system and analysis methods,and provide a high-quality application platform for the research of health food products,raw materials and raw material literature.Methods This article adopts literature analysis,statistical analysis,bibliometrics and database statistical analysis methods to analyze and study the approved products of health foods in China.The raw materials for health foods are analyzed and analyzed,and the research methods of raw materials for health food materials are established.The raw material maca is taken as an example.1.Literature review:Using literature analysis and statistical analysis methods,combined with regulatory developments,an overview of health food products and related laws and regulations,summarizing the overview of approved food products for health food products,and reviewing the standardized research projects for health food ingredients,introduced The overview of the literature on the research of raw materials for health food was carried out,and the comparison and selection of database software and application research and the selection and application of measurement software for literature analysis were carried out.Through the analysis of the current status of research on health food products,raw materials and literature,the pre-period theoretical basis of the study was summarized,and various types of databases and literature analysis and measurement software were compared to provide the basis for the selection of the database and lay the foundation for the development of the study.2.Establishment of database of health food products-raw materials-raw materials database:Using database technology,use Microsoft Access software to build a database of health food products-raw materials-raw materials literature,with a total of three sub-databases.The database highlights the combination of product,raw materials and raw material literature and the combination of data query and data research.(1)The health food has approved the product database.The data is from the official website of CFDA.As of December31,2017,all health food products have been approved.There are a total of 17,460 products.Each product contains 37 information including raw and auxiliary materials,specifications,and dosage forms.item.After the study,there were 928 products duplicating due to changes in information,transfer,or write-off.Actually there were 16,532 products,and the ratio of useless products was 5.32%.(2)Database of raw materials for health foods,the data from the various regulatory announcements issued by the CFDA and the National Health and Family Planning Commission(hereinafter referred to as the Health and Family Planning Commission)(the deadline is December31,2017).In this study,a systematic summary analysis was conducted.According to incomplete statistics,there were a total of 452 species,and each raw material contained six information items such as use basis.(3)Database of raw materials for health food materials,data from relevant documents published by CNKI,PubMed from December 2017 to December 31,20 1 7,including more than 1144000 articles of more than 200 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine raw materials used in 452 kinds of raw materials.It contains 11 kinds of information such as titles,abstracts,test objects,safe doses,etc.It provides a convenient high-quality research platform for the research of health food products,raw materials and documents.3.Health food has approved product information analysis and research:the use of statistics and other methods,the basic information of health food products were analyzed.Focused on the changes in China's health food product quantity and product information;product formulations and functional distribution and the characteristics of the law;product formulations used raw material characteristics of these three aspects.Through the screening of approved duplicates of health food products,clarifying the quantity of products;summarizing the information of approved product information;analyzing the dosage forms of approved products;and performing statistical analysis and regular analysis on health functions of approved products,and analyzing them correctly and clearly.The basis for the provision of health food products;The use of raw materials for product formulation analysis and research,to provide reference for the product group.4.Standardization research of raw materials for health foods:According to the laws and regulations,a total of 452 kinds of health food raw materials were collected,analyzed and summarized.For each raw material,combined with regulatory trends,a standardized study of raw materials for health foods was conducted using statistical and data mining methods,including sources of raw materials,The use of the basis,raw material standards,quality standards,standard dosage,raw material taste and the efficacy of the six aspects of the content,the research results show that most of the raw materials have reference standards,but there are many problems,for example,some Incomplete raw material standards,some raw materials have multiple standards,etc.These issues need to be further improved.5.Analytical research and method establishment of raw materials for health foods:through interpretation of relevant laws and regulations,establishing a method for literature review of raw materials for health foods,and selecting raw materials maca for literature review.Through the use of literature measurement,literature analysis,data mining,and statistical analysis methods,maca safety literature and functional literature analysis studies,including functional literature,clinical studies and animal trials,health care functions,experimental subjects,doses used,etc.Aspects and aspects of safety literature,such as safe doses.Conclusions and significance This study(1)established a database of health food products-raw materials-preparation literature.Through data analysis,the number of health food products that have been approved and the statistics and analysis of the dosage forms,health functions were determined;(2)Summary Analyze 452 kinds of raw materials that can be used in health foods,and carry out standardization research on raw materials.Through reviewing,summarizing and analyzing regulations and provisions,sort out the raw materials that can be used for health foods and conduct standardization research on raw materials by consulting relevant standards;(3)Constructing health foods The research methods of raw materials literature,namely:interpretation of laws and regulations-raw material literature retrieval and quantitative analysis-raw material literature information mining and securityfunctional literature analysis-self-examination and dynamic updating,analysis of health food raw materials through analysis and research on Maca Examples for data analysis.The study found that the product information in the CFDA health food product database was duplicated and the repetition rate was 5.32%.After information was perfected,the top three dosage forms of health foods in China were capsules,tablets,and oral liquids.In addition to nutrient supplements,the raw materials were The top ten in the frequency of use were wolfberry fruit,American ginseng,radix astragali,ginseng,alfalfa,ganoderma lucidum,propolis,hawthorn,puerarin,and yam.The number of products with a total number of raw materials accounted for the highest proportion of formula information products,which was 22.64%.Most are vitamins and minerals.Among the 452 kinds of raw materials that have been analyzed,some of the raw materials for health foods have been used but no raw material standards.This suggests that we will need to establish raw material standards and further regulate the use of health foods in future research.This study provides a quick and comprehensive method for querying health food related information;provides a high-quality and convenient research platform for the research of health food products,raw materials,and literature;and creates a reference method for literature research on health food ingredients.To provide the basis for management departments to formulate relevant laws and policies,it has important practical significance for standardizing the work of health food products and raw materials and exploring new research methods for health food literature.
