The Design And Expression Of Plant Patterns In The Exterior Decoration Of Guzheng

As a product of the era of handicraft industry,plant patterns have accumulated the infinite wisdom and creative spirit of the Chinese nation in the long course.In the past,present and future,it is a common artistic resource for designers.Guzheng is one of the typical representatives of national musical instruments and is deeply influenced by the traditional culture.It is the culture that gives its life and gives it unique beauty.The function of the Guzheng under the influence of the traditional culture is far more than the cultivation of sentiment and entertainment,and it includes the aesthetic implication of the cultural ontology.In this paper,Guzheng is the carrier of research.The design and performance of decorative patterns are particularly important in the appearance of Guzheng.Among of them,plant patterns are the most popular.In ancient times,people often use patterns such as trees and flowers to decorate the Guzheng.Modern Guzheng patterns also use plant patterns.Especially nowdays,the international decoration field is particularly concerned with ethnic styles,and it is advocating the search for design inspiration in traditional art to meet people's needs.This has also made modern people pay more attention to the value of traditional art.Many people have begun to re-examine and explore the design techniques and development trends of Chinese traditional plant patterns,which has played an important role in promoting national culture.Through a field survey to Yangzhou Guzheng production plant and guzheng enterprise,the author conducts in-depth interviews,field observation and actual operation of well-known enterprises,and studies the design and performance of plant patterns in the appearance of Guzheng.The article firstly gives a brief overview of the historical development of plant pattern,and briefly discusses the application of plant patterns in folk instruments and the appearance decoration of Yangzhou Guzheng.Secondly,the article analyzes the composition of plant pattern in the appearance of Guzheng,including direct Citation,abstract refinement,and structural reorganization are three kinds,and two methods of expression of the pattern of the plant in the appearance decoration of the Guzheng are described briefly,including both manual and mechanical.In the end,the author designed a series of works of "Zhi Ji Zhi Yu" and produced the "Bing Di Lian Guzheng".In the process of combining theory with practice,the author put forward the view of the "Qi&Zheng ensemble",that is,to express the appearance patterns of the Guzheng with the lacquer technique.The author integrate the "artisan spirit" into the Guzheng culture Fully.
