Research On Innovative Design Of Decorative Materials Based On Lacquer Craft

With the rapid development of China’s economy and the introduction of a series of national policies,decorative materials market is developing into one that values diversity,ecology and rationality.Consequently,much attention has been drawn to the innovative design of decorative materials products.Hence,with the aim of innovating decorative materials,this paper presents lacquer craft,in which Chinese traditional culture is embedded,in meaningful ways,adds new functions,classifies and analyzes the techniques of lacquering,whereby concludes the base materials and techniques that are suitable for decorative materials,as well as achieve the innovation of decorative material.By collecting and organizing existing materials,this paper summarizes the development and multi-application of lacquer craft both in China and overseas.Furthermore,the concepts,current status and development trend of traditional handicraft decoration materials are discussed,and several materials are listed.These knowledge is used as reference for the innovative design of lacquer craft decorative materials later in the paper.Moreover,quantitative method is applied and experiments are conducted in this study.Reasonable data regarding the experiments of lacquering techniques,its bases and decorative materials is organized and analyzed.From which,useful guidance can be extracted to benefit the diverse development of lacquer decorative materials in the future.The results of this study concur the rationality of applying lacquer craft in the field of decorative material.It satisfies the effective use of decorative material,while inheriting the long Chinese culture and improving the artistic quality of decorative material in the meantime.It is,therefore,not only an essential way to protect and develop the traditional lacquer craft,but also an effective method to enrich the variety of decorative material.
