With the development of technology, laser technology has been more and more widely used, and its status is becoming more and more important. However, the traditional image detection method is difficult to complete the detection requirements of far-field large spots. In order to realize the performance detection of far-field high-power lasers, the energy detection of far-field laser spots is mainly done by detector dot matrix method.Firstly, the paper analyzes the energy transfer process of laser in the atmosphere, and introduces the influence of atmospheric aerosol particles on laser atmospheric transmission. The MODTRAN software is used to simulate the atmospheric transmittance. Then, the atmospheric attenuation model is constructed by combining the formula derivation and experiment, and trying to establish the relationship between the atmospheric attenuation coefficient and the visibility. Then, the entire detection system is functionally modularized. The focus is on the research and design of the peak hold circuit in the laser detection module. In order to ensure that it can chieve the collection of narrow pulse laser signals, the device selection and working principle are considered, and software simulation and circuit experiments are carried out to ensure the detection performance. In addition, both the data acquisition module and the image display module are designed and interfaced to ensure timely data collection and result display. Finally, the performance of the entire detection array is measured, and the detection circuit works well, and the detection and result display of the narrow pulse laser signal can be completed. The detection and peak hold of the pulse pulse width of 10 ns are realized, the voltage loss is less than 5%,the drooping rate of the whole circuit is about 1.16 mV/?s,and the output range of the circuit is 0~2.5V.
