Research On The Calculation And Influencing Factors Of Agricultural Total Factor Productivity In Chongqing

This paper is about the whole factor productivity of Chongqing Agriculture.According to the national conditions of our country,China's arable land area is less than 10% of the world's cultivated land area,and the population is more than 20% of the world's total population.Chongqing,the only municipality in the western region,has the characteristics of "big city,big countryside,big mountain area and big reservoir area".Based on the review and analysis of the existing literature,this paper takes land,fertilizer and labor as input variables and output index,and chooses the total agricultural output value in agriculture,agriculture,livestock and fishery as output index,and measures the total agricultural factor productivity in Chongqing and the counties.This paper analyzes the influencing factors of total agricultural factor productivity in Chongqing,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures for sustainable agricultural development in Chongqing.The findings suggest that(1)Rising in fluctuations is a characteristic of the development of total agricultural factor productivity in Chongqing,which has declined only in 2008 and 2014 in the last 10 years,and increased gradually with different growth rates in the remaining years.(2)By studying the factors influencing the total factor productivity of agriculture in Chongqing,the increase of the expenditure of financial support for agriculture,the development of secondary industry and the improvement of the level of transportation infrastructure construction can significantly promote the growth of total factor productivity of agriculture;(3)The improvement of total agricultural factor productivity in Chongqing mainly depends on technological progress rather than technological efficiency,the improvement of agricultural science and technology level,the provision of advanced machinery and equipment for agriculture,the improvement of labour productivity and the increase of efficiency in the use of agricultural land resources.(4)In terms of the average annual growth rate of total agricultural output,the fastest district is Qijiang District,with an average annual growth rate of 23.57 %,followed by Rongchang County(20.49 %),Yunyang County(19.28 %),Wanzhou District(17.96 %)and Fengjie County(17.87 %).At the same time,it can be analyzed that Dadu District(5.97 %),Yubei District(9.34 %),Shaping Dam District(10.62 %)and Yongchuan District(11.05 %)are regions with relatively slow relative annual growth rates.Geographical factors have a significant impact on the productivity of Chongqing's total agricultural factor.Finally,according to the conclusions of the study,we should put forward policy suggestions and increase investment to help science and technology innovation,promoting the construction of village roads and ramping up infrastructure;To pay attention to technical training and raise production level;Improve policy mechanism and realize industrial development;We will pool the strength of all parties and deepen science,education and agriculture.
