Comparative Study On Manufacturing Competitiveness Between Anhui And Jiangsu,Zhejiang And Shanghai

Industry is the pillar of the national economy,and manufacturing is an important part of industry.The development of manufacturing industry is a great significance to the promotion of national and regional economic.As one of the important provinces for the strategy of the rise of central China,Anhui Province has a very strong manufacturing base.In recent years,Anhui Province has been vigorously developing the manufacturing industry,accelerating the building of a strong manufacturing province,and continuously undertaking high-quality manufacturing from the Yangtze River Delta region.Anhui Province has gradually deepen the integration of manufacturing and the Internet.The rapid development of machinery,automobiles,electronic appliances,household appliances,and pharmaceutical industries has formed a group of well-known manufacturing groups represented by Chery Automobiles,JAC Automobiles,Unilever,Gree Electric Appliances,and Tongling Nonferrous Metals.However,while vigorously developing the manufacturing industry,there are also many problems,such as small total scale,low level of manufacturing structure,extensive growth mode,unbalanced regional development,etc.These problems will indirectly affect the manufacturing industry development in Anhui Province.Since entering the 21 st century,Anhui Province has followed the pace of national policies and has successively established the“Demonstration Zone for Independent Innovation of Hefei” and “The DemonstrationZone for Industrial Transfer to the Lancang Urban Belt”,which has gradually built up a number of advantages with independent innovation capabilities.Industrial clusters.In view of this,this article focuses on the actual situation of the development of manufacturing in Anhui,Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai,adopts the data of four provinces and cities of Anhui Province,Zhejiang Province,Jiangsu Province,and Shanghai City from 2010 to 2016,and builds the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry based on the industrial competitiveness model.The evaluation index system uses factor analysis to empirically compare the manufacturing industry of Anhui Province with that of Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai.The results of the study show that in 2013,Anhui Province's industrial advantages after taking over the industrial transformation of the Yangtze River Delta began to highlight,and the overall competitiveness of the manufacturing industry has gradually increased.In2015 and 2016,Anhui's manufacturing competitiveness ranked second in four provinces and cities.From the perspective of the reasons for the increase in competitiveness,the main reason for the increase in the competitiveness of manufacturing in Anhui Province is the increase in production investment and the increase in market profitability.It is worth noting that Anhui Province always lags behind Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai in terms of environmental protection and scientific and technological innovation.The competitiveness of the two is always ranked last in four provinces and cities.Through the analysis of empirical results,we strive to find out the inadequacies of the manufacturing industry in Anhui Province and Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Shanghai.We want to find the key factors which affect the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry,and put forward specific countermeasures and suggestions for the problems of the manufacturing industry in Anhui Province and Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Shanghai.
