Research On The Behavior Of Logistics Service Supply Chain Members Under Demand Updating

Recently,electronic commerce has been developing very fast throughout the world,which brings about huge logistics demand.It is hard for e-commerce companies to provide logistics service on their own,so they turn to logistics service outsourcing.To provide logistics service,logistics service integrators(LSIs)integrate functional logistics service from many functional logistics service providers(FLSPs)and form logistics service supply chains(LSSCs).However,capacity procurement is not easy for LSIs,especially when behavior factors are taken into consideration and market demand keeps being updated.Accordingly,this paper will study the effects of behavior of LSSC members on capacity procurement under demand updating.This paper first studies the research status of logistics service supply chain research field,then makes a review of reciprocity behavior,obedience behavior and overconfidence behavior in management field.This paper studies the reciprocity behavior,obedience behavior and overconfidence behavior.(1)With increasing market competition and customer expectations,supply chain members mitigate the traditional competitive barriers with reciprocal behavior to improve their profitability.We model a two-stage service capacity procurement problem with a reciprocity contract for a logistics service supply chain(LSSC).We obtain the necessary conditions for using a reciprocity contract in the LSSC and explore the effects of demand updating on the reciprocity contract.(2)Demand updating,accompanied by service quality guarantee and obedience behavior have made it more complicated to make supply chain decisions.We build a two-opportunity service capacity procurement model to investigate the effects of obedience behavior and demand updating on service quality guarantee and purchase quantities.(3)The past several years have seen the focus of supply chain research shifts from creating efficient supply chains to reliable and efficient supply chains,due to the large scale negative impacts of supply chain disruptions.We establish a two-period service capacity procurement model with demand surges.In the end,we summarize the results of the models and put forward the main conclusions and future research directions.
