The Influence Of Productive Service Import Complexity On TFP Of Manufacturing Industry

Since reform and opening up,the development of manufacturing industry of China is growing by leaps and bounds.But compared with developed countries,the productivity is not high,low independent innovation ability,lack of international competitiveness,so the key to improve manufacturing total factor productivity(TFP),which cannot be separate from the producer services development.China's producer services development level is relatively low,both in terms of "quantity" or from the "quality" are unable to meet the growing demand of manufacturing industry.therefore,China need to introduce the foreign advanced productive service and improve productive services import complexity,only in this way can we improve the development of producer services from quality's point of view.In that background,this paper tries to study the effect of productive services import complexity of manufacturing TFP,in order to imporving TFP of Manufacturing industry by constantly improve China's productive service import complexity.First in the theoretical part,from the angles of development of the manufacturing scale,the internal structure and the size and structure of the productive service import,the paper analyzes the development situation of manufacturing industry and productive services import.This paper tries to tell the difference between the direct effect and indirect effect on the influence of productive service import complexity on TFP of Manufacturing Industry,and explain the impact of each effect.The direct effect contains elements of restructuring effect and technology spillover effect,the indirect effect including trade remedy effect and the effect of the trade competition.Then in the empirical part,this paper applys DEA-Malmquist index method and Dai Xiang's method(2014)and Chen Qifei's method(2014)to measure the TFP of manufacturing industry and the productive service import complexity in our country respectively.This paper study the influence of productive service import complexity on TFP of manufacturing industry during the year of 1999~2016 through the point of our country and different industries.In order to systematic analysis the effects of productive service subdicision industry,on the basis of comparative labor productivity index of producer services,this paper devide the productive service into three parts such as low,middle and high knowledge density.This paper also uses the domestic producer services as a intervening variable,studying the mediation effect between productive service import complexity and TFP of manufacturing industry,test results show that the mediation effect is existing.Finally,based on theoretical analysis and empirical research described above,we put forward relevant policy suggestions.
