Research On The Influence Of Producer Services On Industrial Total Factor Productivity In Northeast China

In recent years,China's economic development has gradually entered the stage of transformation and upgrading.The proposal of the “Belt and Road” initiative will not only promote the adjustment of the industrial structure of the provinces and cities along the route,but also strengthen the internal links and integration of various industries,thereby enhancing economic development.This is China's major strategic move under the requirements of economic transformation and upgrading.The "13th Five-Year Plan" proposal to promote the transformation of traditional producer services from production to modern production services is a good opportunity for the transformation and upgrading of producer services.The gradual rise of China's economy on the world stage has a negative impact on the quality and sophistication of domestic productivity service industry,and the value chain industry extension all put forward high requirements.In response to this call,the northeast region is gradually forming a new pattern of "internal and external linkage and mutual assistance between land and sea" which is fully open.After proposing a slogan to revitalize the northeast region,it focuses on the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure.Among them,the interaction and integration and common development of modern manufacturing and service industries with each other will generally make the division of labor in each industry more detailed and deeper.And the industrial level will be further improved,which will greatly enhance the support for the open development of the producer service industry.In this context,this thesis studies the distribution pattern and evolution trend of producer services in the Northeast region,and explores the impact of factors such as specialization and diversification of producer services on the total factor productivity of the industry.The structure adjustment provides direction to achieve the purpose of promoting the transformation and upgrading of the producer service industry in the Northeast region and achieving the sustainable development of the producer service industry.This thesis starts from the status of producer service industry and total factor productivity in the Northeast region,try to explain the development of the producer service industry in the Northeast region by statistical analysis.Secondly,combined with the data envelopment analysis model,two input indicators and two output indicators were selected.Based on the research of previous scholars,the total factor productivity of the producer service industry in Northeast China from 2004 to 2017 and the municipalities of each level were separately analyzed.The calculation and the decomposition study are carried out.Finally,construct a spatial econometric model to measure the impact of the aggregation of producer services in the Northeast region on the total factor productivity of the industry,and then obtain the direction of the future adjustment of the structure of producer services.The following conclusions are drawn through research:(1)The producer service industry in the Northeast region showed an overall upward trend from 2004 to 2017,but the change was relatively small.The strong development of the productive service industry in the Northeast region and cities at various levels is inseparable from the promotion of technological progress,which is the main factor for industrial development.In the decomposition of changes in technical efficiency,it was found that pure technical efficiency has a more significant role in promoting the development of producer services in the Northeast region than scale efficiency,and producer services have a greater impact on changes in industrial technical efficiency.(2)During 2004-2017,most of the cities in the Northeast region were in a stage of decreasing scale in producer services.The unreasonable of input structure may be the important reason.Of course,investing sufficient resources has also hindered the expansion of the producer service industry.(3)Based on the comprehensive benefit situation,scale benefit value and input-output ratio of the producer service industry,the seven major selected industries are analyzed and the direction that may need to be adjusted in the future is explained.It is not only necessary to continue to maintain industries with good development status,but also to improve the production efficiency of other industries and vigorously rectify industries with insufficient performance.
