In recent years the implementation of lean production in the enterprises is becoming more and more popular,it is the concept of lean production also has different definitions,but the ultimate goal of lean production is the same,which is to minimal input to meet customer requirements and obtain the maximum profit.In general,the inputs have labor,materials,machines,time,place,energy and so on,the output has qualified products,suitable quantity,on-time delivery and attractive price.The core of lean production is committed to the elimination of non-value added activities,eliminate all of the production of waste,through continuous improvement activities,under the premise of ensuring product quality,the greatest satisfaction of customer,shortly delivery time,reducing production costs,improvement management efficiency.The company F is facing fierce market competition and rising labor costs,compressing product profits continuously in recent years.Since the higher requirement of delivery and quality standard,managers face these problems with increasing difficulty.Therefore the management team made the decision to implement lean production.By implementing lean operation continuous improvement,the use of 5S,VSM,IE,standardization and other lean tools for continuous improvement on production site,the company operation costs and efficiency improved significantly,the management of the company's indicators have achieved the expected goal.As we know lean improvement is a need to insist for a long time,continue to promote activities,through lean production F research and learning its success experience,we expect it would be the good reference and guidance to other related enterprises,help them to get success by implementing lean improvement which are in difficulties.This study is divided into six chapters which introduces the concrete contents and continuous improvement of lean production in company F,with the difficulties encountered in development of enterprise,introduces the research background,purpose,significance and main research ideas and methods.It also further describes the emergence and development of lean production,mainly including the formation and development history of lean,successes have been achieved,the main experience in the development stage,current situation of application of lean production research at home and abroad.Lean production tools through the development and evolution constantly has formed a lot sets of tools to complete the system.This article introduces 5 S management,the most widely used in industrial engineering,value flow chart,standard operation in detail.It focuses on the lean production encountered problems in the process in company F's,and the deep reasons for these problems,the essence through the causes analysis of the problems.The company F built up the lean system to solve the main contradiction in production.The second key part is the lean improvement case study,through the case explanation,may help everybody to understand the continual improvement of lean production.In order to control the risk of lean improvement,the company's Lean Project safeguards are analyzed explicitly.Finally,it analyzes the expected results of the improvement and gets the main results of the study.Meanwhile,it points out the deficiencies of the research and prospects the future research of lean.
