A Research On The Promotion Andadoption Of Maize Production

Food security has always been a top priority for our government.With the continuous development of China's economy,as well as the increase in the level of industry,people's food consumption patterns have shifted from crop-based to meat-based.Therefore,the connotation of food security has begun to expand.The government must not only firmly guarantee the safety of daily food,but also begin to pay attention to the supply and demand of feed grains and industrial grains.Corn,as an important feed source and industrial raw material,occupies a extremely vital position in China's agricultural production.Since the founding of the republic of China,the proportion of China's corn planting area and total production to that of the national grain increased from 11.5% and 11.1% in the 1950 s to 20.1% and 23.9% in the 1990 s,respectively.After entering the new century,China's corn production had achieved a dramatic increase in the development of continuous multi-year output growth.However,the study found that although corn production has steadily increased in recent years,due to the challenges of rapid growth in food demand,high production costs,narrowing production growth space,extensive use of arable land,and the net imports of the three major staples,the success of corn Increasing production could not be able to narrow the ever-widening gap between supply and demand in China,and it cannot provide a strong guarantee for the effective supply of corn in China as well.The issue of China's food security still remains unsolved.Therefore,how to improve maize yield still remain to be considered by scientists.I think that increasing yields is the most effective way to reduce the gap between corn supply and demand,and to ensure food security.The increase in grain yields and production technology are of great importance.The extension of agricultural technology,as a bridge linking agricultural research,education,and farmers,is a link that turns scientific research results into real productivity,and is one of the important steps in the development of agricultural science and technology.Accelerating the pace of agricultural science and technology innovation is not only conducive to the rapid increase in the quantity and quality of grain production,but also conducive to the cultivation of national agricultural talents and the progress of agricultural modernization.Therefore,this essay begins with production technology promotion and adoption,and takes farmers in five counties in Shaanxi Province as the survey objects.It mainly conducts research on the promotion and adoption of corn technology through literature reading and field research,and combines the investigation of agricultural technology stations and farmers.To understand the status quo from the aspects of technology promotion and technology adoption.collecting,collating and analyzing data related to the promotion of production technology,studying the farmers' adoption of maize production technology and their willingness of demand,as well as matching degree of China's corn production technology supply and demand.Through investigation and research,it has been found that there are many problems in the production technology promotion work in five counties.Among them,it is found that there are three main serious problems,the aging of farmers,the useless work the technology promotion and the unfitness appliance of the technology,which seriously affect the food production technology.In view of this phenomenon,I suppose that the financial,material,and human resources for grassroots agricultural technology promotion should be strengthened,and a variety of promotion forces should be combined to encourage the development of non-government agricultural technology promotion organizations.At the same time,the communication with farmers should be strengthened,and the farmers' real suggestions and needs should be considered.It is also needed that technology promotion service capabilities and service intensity should be developed.Finally,I think we should explore the mechanism and the way of agricultural technology promotion that cater for needs of farmers and agricultural production,and of continuously innovating promotion methods,as well as striving to solve problems such as current corn supply and demand gaps and backward technology of agricultural products,to ensure effective supply of major agricultural products and the safety of national food.
