With China's accession to the WTO and the relaxation of export controls, more companies gain the right to export and participate in the export activities of foreign trade, which in turn aggravates the competition in export trade. On the one hand, various export companies integrate supply chains to reduce unnecessary transaction costs and links to reduce costs. On the other hand, they do everything possible to increase the response time of the supply chain with a view to shorter delivery times and faster speeds to meet customer differentiation.Demand, improve their own competitiveness in the international market. The supply chain delivery cycle is affected by various aspects. It not only affects the reputation evaluation that the company obtains from customers, but also directly relates to the number of orders that customers are willing to cooperate with. This dissertation analyzes Lean Six Sigma ideas and processes through the theoretical discussion of Lean Six Sigma production.First of all, introduce the background of the industry, the basic situation of H company and the order operation process, and analyze the industry competition and product characteristics of H company.Through data analysis, delays in delivery of orders caused customer dissatisfaction, tensions with suppliers, and delays in the delivery of orders caused huge losses to Company H.All factors affecting order delivery are derived from the SIPOC process chart.Based on the analysis of the statistical data of order delivery, the first-level factors of order delays were identified, mainly the delays of manufacturers and logistics. The fundamental reason for the fishbone diagram analysis was that the mismatch between the order demand and the manufacturer's production capacity caused a delay in the manufacturer.Based on the analysis of the rationality of the process time node, the main reason was that the late confirmation of the space led to delays in logistics. For the delay caused by the mismatch between order demand and production capacity,a Delphi method combined with the seasonal forecasting model was used to forecast the orders for the new season. The production capacity was matched in advance, the production capacity was reserved, and the production capacity of raw material manufacturers was included.Within the examination. For logistic delays,an order booking process was proposed for this item, and a two-way extended early warning mechanism was added to ensure that the booking operations had enough process time. The exceptions caused by various factors could also be discovered early through the extended warning.Purchase remediation measures.Through the use of DMAIC methods, the order delivery improvement project significantly improved and improved the timely delivery rate, improved customer satisfaction, improved the company's operating performance, and also promoted the overall efficiency of the supply chain. In a word, this paper applies the lean six sigma DMAIC theory to foreign trade companies and applies them to the project operations of H foreign trade companies. From this,we can explore the feasible methods for foreign companies to improve the delivery period, which can be used for reference by the same industry.
