At present,the Six Sigma management has been become one of the most important management methods in the world and created the great benefits form any enterprises. But now more and more enterprises find the improvement is limited by the traditional Six Sigma projects. When the sigma level is closed to 5, further improvement is very hard. It is hardly achieved 6 sigma level. In the market economy globalization, enterprises are facing a huge challenge, Chinese enterprises are searching a way to face the financial crisis, to seek industrial upgrading, to become bigger and stronger, to win in the international competition and industry giants. The Six Sigma design is a good tool. Many enterprises have agreed with the six sigma Design. But now the Six Sigma design mainly is applied in the manufacturing enterprises for the development of new products. It is a few application in researching of process design. PEBL is now the largest and the most modern manufacturer of heavy-duty rotating electric systems with customers including almost every manufacturer of small to large displacement diesel engines,PEBL is now expanding its sales and service network worldwide. With the continuous expansion of the scale, More and more questions are found including design ability, management ability, ability to deliver orders, manufacturing level, cost pressures and so on. The worst is order delivery. Customers’ satisfaction is very down. PEBL wants to change old management process. In order to improve the order delivery rate, it is necessary to optimize the company resources chain by the Six Sigma design method. The six sigma design will help PEBL to realize the first-class commercial vehicle parts supplier’s dream.Firstly, application background and status of Six Sigma at home and abroad were introduced; the classification of Six Sigma DMAIC and DFSS was also introduced at the same time, and the differences and similarities between them were analyzed. Then a suitable PEBL order delivery process of six sigma design research.The application of six sigma design is carried out by way of multifunctional team. After that the Six Sigma Design will change current process of order delivery for different stage of products. through the project implementation in the definition, measurement, analysis, design, verification and analysis of five links, six sigma project implementation process was introduced in detail; This thesis study on the application of the Six Sigma Design that the purpose and significance of this design can effectively control the product quality and service quality, gradually developed the control of the quality of work is engaged in the active control, passive improvement to advance the basic starting point is the development team to work closely with management, and use the right tools and do the right thing at the right time to prevent the emergence of quality problems, one-time would have a thing well done.Applying DFSS can achieve the three major enterprise management goals such improving quality of products and services, reducing the cost, and shortening the production cycle through clear product development processes, balanced use of six sigma tools, and strict project management methods three aspects. This thesis tries to design through six sigma project selection, multi-functional team form and subject to carry out the work, summed up the scope of application of six sigma design and matters needing attention, in order to import the same industry and to provide experience for application of the Six Sigma Design process management.
