In recent years,the relationship between corporate social responsibility and enterprise performance has been widely concerned in theory and practice.As an indispensable partner of manufacturing enterprises,supplier's product quality,delivery time and transaction cost affect every link of downstream enterprise's production and operation,and suppliers play an important role in the interest groups.More and more research started from the micro level of corporate social responsibility,actively focus on supplier oriented CSR on firm performance and corporate value,but there is little literature on the relationship between corporate social responsibility for supplier and corporate performance research,as the influence mechanism between these two variables currently need more in-depth study.In view of these,it is based on the Stakeholder Theory,the Theory of Supply Chain Management(SCM)and Resource-Based View(RBV),this paper takes the equipment manufacturing industry as a sample to further analyze the internal mechanism of supplier oriented social responsibility and R & D performance,and then make up for the research theory of corporate social responsibility,and provide practice path and management inspiration for domestic manufacturing enterprises to enhance R & D performance.According to the research problem,the following research is carried out in this paper:(1)Taking the research questions as the breakthrough point,combing the related literature,clarifying the achievements and shortcomings in the research field of supplier oriented social responsibility,supplier participation and R & D performance,so as to train research ideas and construct research framework based on research methods.(2)Based on literature summarization,we dig deep into the theoretical connotation of supplier oriented social responsibility,supplier participation and R & D performance,laying the theoretical foundation for this research.Meanwhile,based on the literature research results,we analyze the relationship between variables and propose hypotheses based on conceptual models,including the influence of supplier orientation social responsibility on R & D performance,and the mediating role of supplier participation in these two variables.(3)Take the domestic equipment manufacturing industry as the research object,finish the questionnaire design and data collection,and construct thestructural equation model.Use SPSS and AMOS software to conduct empirical analysis to explore the influence mechanism between supplier oriented social responsibility and research performance.Based on the empirical results,we draw the following conclusions:(1)Supplier oriented social responsibility has a positive impact on R & D performance,and supplier oriented social responsibility has a significant positive impact on financial performance,market performance and process performance.(2)Supplier oriented social responsibility has a significant positive impact on supplier participation,and has a significant positive impact on three dimensions of supplier participation.(3)Supplier involvement has a significant positive impact on R & D performance,and there is a positive effect between the two dimensions.The impact of information communication quality on R & D performance is small.(4)Supplier participation plays a partial role in the relationship between supplier oriented social responsibility and R & D performance.The quality of information communication does not play a mediating role between the dimensions of supplier orientation social responsibility and R & D performance.Finally,according to the results of the empirical analysis,the management inspiration is as follows:(1)To improve the legal system of social responsibility and to enhance the external impetus to fulfill the responsibility.It is necessary to further strengthen the relevant legislation,clarify the rights and responsibilities of all parties,improve the mechanism of rewards and punishment,guide the market supervision force,and promote the enterprises to find the balance in their own interests and social responsibilities.(2)Correct understanding of social responsibility and actively expanding the path of accountability.Enterprises need to get rid of the narrow concept of "public welfare" and "philanthropy",correctly recognize the social responsibility of the supplier oriented,establish the organizational system of corporate social responsibility,and effectively fulfill the social responsibility in the legal,economic,charitable and ethical aspects.(3)Accelerate the transformation of the development model,and effectively promote the participation of suppliers.Domestic equipment manufacturing enterprises need to change the development model of "big and full" and "small and complete",deepen the cooperation with suppliers,and cultivate the core competitiveness of "strong,fine and special".At the same time,we need to build an effective information communication platform to deepen trust between enterprises and enhance the effectiveness of supplier participation.
