Research On Ameba Mode In It Project Management

IT Project Management is the application of project management in the field of IT.Carrying out project management techniques,concepts and methods highlighting the characteristics of IT industry.The fact of many factors involved and number of uncontrollable elements is big often lead to delays in project delivery.Therefore,urgently it calls for a new way of management model,in order to improve the overall methodology of the department management and indeed to improve the efficiency.Starting with the aim to solve those problems actually occurred while during project management,this Paper introduces the ameba management method to the daily practice of management activities,to find ways to adapt to our own IT projects management.First of all,this Paper introduces the background and significance of the research,analyses the usual management methods and problems in the IT project,and introduces the structure and research methods of the thesis.Furthermore,it summarizes research and current status of IT Project Management at home and abroad.Based on the existing theories on project management,it outlines the different management modes and provides with a detailed analysis on ameba.Presenting the advantages of ameba as compares with the other modes.Then,it lists the actual successful and failed cases while after the implementing of ameba,pointing out both the applicability and shortcomings of this particular way of project management.And provides with the suggestions to fix those shortcomings.Finally,based on the previous research on management and having taking into consideration the characteristics of our own department,creating a set of customized Ameba-Way of IT Project Management.The Paper describes how to apply this model to the everyday IT project management.For example,dividing the staff into groups,one group stands for one ameba,to participate in the internal IT project bidding and competition.Each ameba holds responsibilities for itself.In the end to demonstrate the actual effectiveness using outcomes generate from actual facts and to present the proven advantages of this customized ameba mode together with the actual successes.
