In recent years, the economic development level of Xinjiang has made a breakthrough. As the key material premise of the social progress of the national economy, the traffic infrastructure has a significant role in promoting the economic and social development of Xinjiang and the shaping of the spatial pattern, and has become the main motive force to promote the agglomeration effect of the production factors among the region."This The Belt and Road" strategy, given the new strategic positioning,Xinjiang Silk Road Economic Belt core area. Therefore,it is necessary to gradually implement the multichannel and interconnected communication between the infrastructure and information of Xinjiang and the neighboring countries of Russia and Central Asia, and gradually build an international transport hub.The unique externality attribute of transportation infrastructure can effectively enhance regional total factor productivity(TFP),and then drive the long-term and effective growth of regional economy. On this basis,it is particularly urgent to study the interconnection and intercommunication of Xinjiang transportation infrastructure. It is of great significance to promote the construction of traffic infrastructure in the weak areas and to realize the sustained and rapid development of regional economy. It is of great significance to promote the continuous growth of regional TFP from both the total and the efficiency.Based on the new economic geography and new economic growth theory, this paper uses the panel data of 15 prefectures in 2001-2015 years as the research object and uses the Malmquist index method and SFA method to estimate the TFP of 15 prefectures in Xinjiang, and uses the nuclear density estimation method to analyze the dynamic evolution of the differences between the regions. The results show that the changes in Xinjiang TFP have the following characteristics:(1)during the period of the sample, the level of TFP in all parts of the state showed a spiral rise, but the ability of technological innovation was not high, and the effect of scale economy was not fully played. It can be seen that slow progress in technology and low technology efficiency are the main factors that restrict Xinjiang's economic progress.(2)through the analysis of its dynamic evolution,it is found that the difference distribution of TFP in Xinjiang is converging to multiple equilibrium points, and there is a multi equilibrium "club convergence" situation and the proportion of higher productivity regions has increased, but the difference between regions is becoming more and more obvious.(3)through the analysis of the Moran 's I index and the scatter plot, the spatial correlation of TFP in the state of Xinjiang has a spatial correlation, and the high and high concentration trend is presented in the geographical space. Then,on this basis, the spatial panel measurement model is built, and the related factors are incorporated into the model, and three different weight matrices are used to explore the mechanism of the Xinjiang traffic infrastructure and the spatial spillover effects of the related control variables based on the traffic infrastructure. The results show that:(1)under different types of spatial weights, both of them have positive promoting effect.Specifically, under the weight matrix of 0-1 space, local traffic infrastructure investment has significant spatial spillover effects on adjacent areas and can effectively promote TFP growth, while the improvement of local transportation capacity will inhibit the growth of TFP in adjacentareas.(2)under the geographical distance and the economic distance space weight, the effect of the spillover is obviously higher than the estimated result of the 0-1 matrix. It shows that the setting of the spatial weight plays a vital role in the model estimation, and the accuracy and comprehensibility of its setting are directly proportional to the close degree of the actual economic operation.(3)the increase in transportation infrastructure investment is mainly achieved through indirect effect on TFP,that is,the increase of local investment through the spatial spillover effect promotes the growth of TFP in the adjacent area, but the indirect effect of transportation capacity is only larger than the direct effect under the 0-1matrix,indicating that the increase of transportation capacity is mainly promoting the increase of local total factor productivity. The regional spillover effect is not obvious. Finally, combining with the actual situation in Xinjiang, the paper puts forward the policy suggestions adapted to the research conclusions, increase the investment and financial support of the transportation infrastructure, promote the regional cooperation and mutual assistance from the side level of the traffic infrastructure, improve the traffic planning and network construction, improve the management quality and efficiency, and improve the new industry structure as a means to perfect the new system. The comprehensive transportation network system of Xinjiang will gradually expand the scale of urbanization in Xinjiang and cultivate the distinctive cities in the South and the north.
