At present,our country is in a period of rapid development in economy and society.People's living standard has been improved significantly.With the rapid development of urbanization,transportation infrastructure construction has been continuously improved.Driving skill is widely popular and public lifestyles and consumption habits are changing gradually.Thus,people begin to hold a different opinion on owing a car.More and more families and individuals begin to enjoy the convenience brought by the “on-call” mode lease to use cars,with the purpose of meeting the growing demand for travelling.As a new mode of transportation service,car rental is of flexibility and convenience and cross-regional characteristics.And it is an important branch of the comprehensive transportation system in our country.It can not only meet people's various travel needs,but also provide effective transportation support for some large-scale social and public activities.Zhanjiang Changhong car Rental Co.,Ltd.was established in 2000.It is a car rental company of the legal qualification.With the support of Zhanjiang City Transportation Bureau,for more than 10 years,the company has developed from a company only with taxi business to a car rental company with diversified business,including business car rental,wedding car rental,tourism charter,airport shuttle,professional designated driver,convention and exhibition business,enterprises and individual car rental businesses,and so on.But as the continuous expansion of the car rental companies in our country compared with the past,and under the impact of car sharing economy such as the "Internet and Didi Taxi",the business structure of Changhong Company is too narrow and its layout of leasing sites are centralized.The weaknesses such as the low degrees in size and network have seriously affected the development of business.Under this situation,how can Changhong Company maintain its market position and develop healthily are urgent needs for us to solve.Therefore,this thesis takes Changhong Rental Company as the research object and make a survey on its development strategies.Based on the study of the meaning and characteristics of the car rental industry and the development course of Changhong car Rental Company,this paper summarizes the characteristics and future development trend of car rental industry at home and abroad.By analyzing the characteristics and competitiveness of the car rental industry the thesis points out the existing problems of the Changhong company in the current environment.Finally,the thesis puts forward the concrete operation mode to realize the large-scale operation for the Changhong car rental company.The writer hopes the concrete operation mode will help solve the business dilemma of Changhong car rental Company,realize the perfection and innovation of management mode,and realize the sustainable development.
