CNEEC is an international power engineering company.The choke point for CNEEC's international development strategy arises as the competitive environment has undergone profound changes which include the fierce price competition among international EPC contractors,“the Belt and Road” and “AIIB” advocated by Chinese government,and the re-industrialization in Europe,US and Japan.In order to solve such problem strategically,by adopting the correlation theory of strategic management,this thesis analyzes the internal and external environment of CNEEC quantificationally and qualitatively through PEST,Michael Porter's Five Forces Model,EFE and IFE matrix,etc.With the analysis results by EFE and IFE matrix and SWOT,it could be concluded that CNEEC's opportunities outweighs its threats,and CNEEC's strengths outweighs its weaknesses.Therefore,CNEEC shall utilize its strength and opportunity to realize its growth type strategy,which is transnational strategy.To ensure the implementation of CNEEC's transnational strategy,this thesis proposes steps and safeguard measures of CNEEC's strategy.By building suitable organizational structure,company culture,management system,as well as human resources management and other measures to ensure the smooth implementation of CNEEC's strategy.As CNEEC is a state owned enterprise,studying its international strategy could make helpful reference for other Chinese large-scale engineering enterprises.
