Family mobility has become the main form of the migration of migrant workers.Based on the empirical investigation of migrant rural households in Huangtupo community in Kunming, this paper,on the basis of clearly defining the core concepts, interprets peasant workers as diversified rational subjects that possess the rationality of survival, economic rationality and social rationality,The process characteristics of migrant workers, the living conditions of migrant workers' families in the inflow areas and the problems that arise in the process of migration, and the trend of the family run-up of migrant workers. The families of migrant workers, embedded in social transformation,on the one hand show their vulnerability and hardship,on the other hand, they have always maintained their vitality and resilience. After research and analysis, got the following conclusions:First, economic income, family endowment and relative deprivation from outflows are important factors that influence the family's decision-making process.Family mobility depends more on blood-related "strong ties" to provide support. The family makes a mobile decision by weighing the individual's and family's benefits by negotiating a consensus decision-making model.Second, families of peasant workers in the loess slope community are dominated by semi-familial migration, and three quarters of the families have not yet completed a complete family movement. In the miniaturized and diversified family size, the family structure is dominated by two families headed by couples and their families, with two and three batches of mobile batches. The first is mainly between husband and wife and men.Thirdly, migrant workers' families are mainly engaged in the service industry with low attendance in skills training. Some of the migrant workers work longer hours and have lower incomes. In terms of living conditions, the average living area is small and the facilities in the houses are not complete, which brings great inconvenience to life;Except for medical insurance, other types of insurancecoverage rate is lower;the enthusiasm of the community participation is not high;and the degree of social integration needs to be strengthened.Fourth, the problems of familial mobility of rural migrant workers include land shortage in rural areas, aggravated disputes over land ownership and ownership, lack of pre-school education for migrant children, difficulty in access to quality education resources for children attending school, lack of family education for left-behind children,Lack of support for the elderly with low frequency and power poverty for migrant workers groups.Fifthly, the proportion of peasant-workers 'families buying houses in the city is extremely low. Most migrant workers' families have the will and power to "take root" in cities.Their children go to school, support the elderly and return to their hometown are migrant workers 'families or part of family members' choices Some important factors of "returning to the hometown" include the phenomenon of "leaps and downs" among some young migrant workers and the intention of "moving" again.
