A Study On The Vertical Flow Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

In the social transformation period of rapid economic development and urbanization in China,migrant workers are moving from economically backward areas to well-developed inflows.City community gathered a large number of rural migrant workers,they provide a new labor force for the modernization construction of our country,as a result of China's rural population base large number of flows in the city also faces the risk of overload,if it does not take the initiative to improve the strength and quality of migrant workers,will inevitably suffer from passive social development stagnation and jam.The core content of the city is the city people,it is not only refers to the movement of the population in the space of the transfer from rural areas to the city area,transfer from the western region to the eastern region,the population of the city is in need of more migrant workers in the occupation of the upgrade,the income level and the subjective feelings the promotion of.The horizontal flow of the new generation of migrant workers is the basis of vertical flow.Therefore,based on the theory of labor migration,this paper will further explore the factors that influence the vertical mobility of the new generation of migrant workers.In order to comb the problem of the new generation of migrant workers,promote the orderly and vertical flow,put forward the decision and construction of the solution.From the perspective of human geography,combined with the knowledge of economics and sociology,this paper takes quantitative empirical analysis as the main form,and takes qualitative theory analysis as a supplement to carry out research and writing.On the basis of summarizing the existing data,the paper summarizes the current situation of the vertical mobility of the new generation of migrant workers and the main way of upward mobility,and predicts the trend of vertical flow based on the actual situation.From the theoretical analysis of the influence factors of the vertical flow of the new generation of migrant workers,it is qualitatively divided into social system factors,economic factors and individual characteristics.The contents of these three factors should be further discussed,and the way and function of various factors to the vertical mobility of the new generation of migrant workers will be determined,which will provide theoretical support for data processing.Then using the questionnaire obtained in the nine district of Chongqing City,the influence factors of the vertical flow of the new generation migrant workers are analyzed quantitatively.After sorting and descriptive analysis of the questionnaire data,we used ordinal multi class regression analysis to identify the factors that had significant impact on the vertical mobility of the new generation of migrant workers.Finally,through the calculated data,it is concluded that the age,sex,education level of the new generation migrant workers,the difficulty of finding work,the changing of the working frequency,the professional skills,the housing nature and the purchase insurance are all significantly related to the size and direction of vertical flow.The correlation between working hours was relatively weak,and family children status factors were screened out as unrelated factors.Put forward the most popular housing problem in the society at present.To summarize the findings of this paper,based on the overall planning of urban and rural areas and the establishment of urban-rural integration management,suggestions and decisions are made from the following three aspects: solving housing problems,policy systems,and the new generation migrant workers themselves.
