Since the 20 th century,with the continuous development of information technology,the competition among enterprises is not only confined to products and services.Information has been considered as the hidden gold by most companies which everyone eyed up for it,and enterprise information construction is also a process to help company to store information.Therefore,as an important part of information construction,ERP system is also a top priority for many enterprises.This paper object of study is D company which is leader in pharmaceutical industry producing enteral on nutrition liquid for long,playing a dominant role in the market.In order to help it run business effectively and share data and information among the enterprises,it needs a highly-integrated IT system to support.The paper opens with the introduction of research background and research significance,and presents current situation and characteristics of pharmaceutical industry,also embeds oversea and domestic research outcomes and research content and methods adopted of this thesis,after that bring in related theories and modern literature reviewed including theories on information system,ERP theory and organizational change theory as the theoretical foundation of this thesis.The paper highlights on D company ERP project demand analysis,project design,implementation process,and ending with a summary of project success factor and risk analysis,providing a good study case for IT construction of pharmaceutical companies,enrich the research scope on IT construction of pharmaceutical companies.Through the research of this paper,it provides a successful case and a set of business process standards for pharmaceutical companies on SAP sales and distribution information system especially for enteral nutrition liquid manufacturers,avoiding mistakes,financial lost and decline from implementing ERP system.
