Dry-cleaning Industry In Changsha City Development Research And Evaluation Indicators

The continuous socio-economic development and improvement of urban residents' income raise people's requirements for quality clothes in a fast-paced society.In this context,dry cleaning meets the increased modern consumer demands and thus enjoys leapfrog growth.Domestically,the traditional dry cleaning companies are facing fiercer competitions brought by the Internet business models.As the production costs rise,dry cleaners are prompted to cut their competitive edge and offer better services in their operation to seek sustainable growth with bigger market shares and lower production costs.Based on the overall condition of the dry cleaning industry inHunanProvince,this paper analyzed the current scale of this sector and conducted a case study on the industrial status quo in Changsha.Through detailed analysis and evaluation,this paper summarized the consumption results and the rules governing this particular consumer behavior,providing a theoretical basis for the formulation of business strategies by dry cleaning companies.The Balanced Score Card(BSC)was introduced as a way to improve the previously single-indicator-based evaluation system,aimed at promoting the sustainable growth of companies and the competitiveness of their physical stores.Under the BSC approach,a number of indicators that could affect the performance of physical stores were identified.Then an objective factor analysis was conducted,laying the ground for the establishment of a reasonable and practical evaluation system.Considering the goal of this study and the status quo of the dry cleaning industry,this paper took steps in the following three aspects:First,it assessed the overall industrial development scale and adopted a statistic method to analyze the consumption frequency and time as well as consumer classification and service categorization,based on which it summed up features of dry cleaning consumption in Changsha.Second,it set up an evaluation system for sustainable growth of dry cleaning stores,establishing a preliminary indicator framework on the basis of the BSC.Then the factor analysis was conducted to evaluate the business data and finalize the indicators for the system,which was later put to test in actual stores.In the end,Analysis of problems existing in the dry cleaning industry,using ARIMA model forecast analysis dry-cleaning stores operating data.Provide policy recommendations for the government and the society,To provide the reference for the business operators to adjust management strategy.A brief introduction to the next chapters content:The first chapter mainly introduces the research background and significance andresearch status review,etc.;The second chapter briefly introduces the concept of dry cleaning industry,and construct the index evaluation system theory is introduced;The third chapter analysis of Changshain Changshadry cleaning and laundry industry development consumption characteristics analysis and summary;The fourth chapter mainly build dry-cleaning stores management capability evaluation index system.This chapter introduced the balanced scorecard to the four dimensions to establish indicators,and then using the factor analysis method and weights are simplified,and is compared with store ranking;The fifth chapteraccording to the theory of the chapter 3 and chapter 4results give the corresponding policy Suggestions and improvements;The sixth chapter summarizes the content of the full text of and work for the future was prospected.
