Problems And Countermeasures Of Regulation On Tailored Cabs

Tailored cabs are the interactive production of "Internet+ Transportation","Sharing economy trend" and the technology of mobile Internet.On the one hand,the efficiency and speed of its services have greatly enhanced the travel experience of passengers,saving travel time and costs and rapidly gaining public favor;On the other hand,the platform's entering for the market also takes disadvantage of the traditional cruise-taxi caused the impact of the contradiction between the old and new formats prominent,affecting the entire travel market balance and stability.Reasonable and effective regulation is essential to ensure the quality of public travel,maintain the marketing stability,and promote the integration of traditional and emerging format.This paper studies the regulatory problems and countermeasures in the tailored cabs industry.The regulatory issues two subjective levels--Government and the Platform enterprises are analyzed from the traditional framework based on the systematic analysis of tailored cabs.The study points out the regulatory failures that occur at the government level and the lack of supervision and control that emerge at the platform enterprise level,analyzing the causes of the problems;and takes DiDi,a typical platform enterprise for case studying,pointing out that the problems of the operation;analyzes the mode of cooperation between Didi and Government regulation cooperation,and finds that Didi does play its technological superiority in the regulatory process and has undertaken the social responsibility and strategic adjustment in some extent;The government level also play its policy advantages accordingly,and gradually realize the importance of changing regulatory behavior and methods;Finally,this paper extends to emerging formats such as tailored cabs industry based on the analysis of Govemment-Didi cooperative regulation;the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the cooperative regulation between Government-Platform enterprises:The government should gradually change its regulatory strategy and establish a regulatory framework for cooperation through the principles of continuous,benign interaction as well as implementation;clearly define respective roles in the regulatory process.Through all of these analytics,this paper hopes to provide a way of regulation on emerging format like tailored cabs and other types of "Intermet+".
