Analysis Of Factors Affecting Producing Efficiency Of Peanut In Henan Province

In recent years,the contradiction in the supply of oil in China has become more and more prominent,mainly as follows: on the one hand,with the development of the economy and the improvement of people's living standards,the per capita consumption of edible vegetable oil has increased year by year.On the other hand,both the planting area of oil crops and production self-sufficiency rates have been continued to decrease.As a major province of agricultural production,Henan Province has a long history in peanut cultivation and its planting technology is at the leading level in the country.It is also an important peanut production base in China.Since both the main oil crops and economic crops are in Henan Province,peanut cultivation plays an important role in stimulating the development of rural economic.Therefore,if we can fully tap its own potential of planting peanuts,increase both production efficiency and production capacity of peanuts,not only the farmers' income will increase,but also a sustained and stable development of the whole peanut industry will be guaranteed,which have a significant strategic importance for alleviating the pressure on imports of oil crops such as soybeans and ensuring the safety of China's oil industry.In general,the main ways to increase the integrated production capacity of peanuts are as follows: one is the increase in the input of peanut production factors,and the other is the increase in total factor productivity of peanuts.This paper first uses statistical data to analyze and summarize the development of peanut production in China and Henan Province,describes the distribution,total production and yield of peanut production in Henan Province,and compares with other provinces to find its advantages and disadvantages in Henan Province.Then,using the CD production function to establish a peanut production model in Henan Province,and econometric analysis of the role of the increase in conventional production factors plays in the increase in the yield of peanuts in Henan Province,from the calculation results,the growth of peanut yield in Henan Province mainly depends on the mechanical operation and the amount of fertilizer input.In addition,it is indicates that there is a waste of labor input.Next,the non-parametric Malmquist index method is used to calculate and decompose the total factor productivity of peanut production in Henan Province,other domestic peanut production provinces and the national average.Data envelopment analysis(DEA)method is used to analyze peanut production in Henan Province.The input factors are as follows: firstly,technological progress and improvement in efficiency technologies have boosted the increase in the total factor productivity of peanut production in Henan Province;secondly,compared with other provinces in China,the comprehensive technical efficiency of peanut production in Henan Province is in a disadvantageous position;thirdly,through the redundant analysis of input and output,it is found that in the process of planting peanuts in Henan Province,input elements are wasted,and there are inefficiencies in the number of labor and material and service costs.Finally,according to the problems existing in peanut production in Henan Province,the corresponding suggestions for improvement are put forward.
