Study On In Situ Urbanization In Jilin Province

China's traditional urbanization model has led to a series of social problems such as urban traffic congestion,housing shortage,and a large number of rural cultivated land,leaving behind,and so on.Therefore,we need to change the urbanization model and take the new-type urbanization path with Chinese characteristics.The new-type urbanization emphasizes people-oriented,urban-rural integration development.In Situ urbanization has become an effective model of new-type urbanization by its own characteristics.It plays an important role in realizing the urbanization of “people”,solving the problems of agriculture,rural areas and farmers,narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas,alleviating “urban diseases” and invigorating the rural economy that promoting In Situ urbanization in Jilin Province.This article sorts out the concepts of new-type urbanization and In Situ urbanization,and takes the theory of sustainable development,location theory,and dual economic structure as the theoretical basis for follow-up research.This article has analyzed the status,advantages and model of In Situ urbanization in Jilin Province.Through research,it is concluded that In Situ urbanization in Jilin Province has low quality of rural labor force,weakness in the development of private economy,and weak capacity of absorbing talents in rural areas.Based on the principles of science,comparability,representativeness,and operability,22 indicators were selected from five aspects of economic development,quality of life,population structure,public services,and the ecological environment to construct an evaluation index system for In Situ urbanization.The article collected detailed data and compared 24 provinces with Jilin Province using the entropy method.At the same time,a longitudinal analysis of Jilin Province reveals that the level of In Situ urbanization in Jilin Province is increasing year by year,but it is in the middle and lower reaches of the country.The level is still far from the provinces of Zhejiang and Jiangsu where the level of In Situ urbanization is relatively high.Drawing lessons from the experience of In Situ urbanization both at home and abroad,we have drawn enlightenment for Jilin Province: rational planning and orderly advancement;in-depth digging of characteristic resources,cultivating and developing leading industries,and accelerating the construction of small towns.Finally,through previous qualitative and quantitative research,it is believed that Jilin Province shouldpromote urbanization in rural areas in order to achieve the following: based on a large agricultural province,vigorously develop agricultural industrialization;accelerate the reform of household registration system,promote the citizenization of farmers;accelerate the synthesis of rural land Remediation,improve land use efficiency;take multiple measures to encourage migrant workers to return home for employment;deepen the development of new rural communities and strengthen community management;broaden financing channels and ensure rural urbanization funds for urbanization.
