| With the development of market economy and the advancement of industrialization and mechanization,a large number of traditional handicrafts,which were attached to traditional production and lifestyle,have been abandoned.In addition,the gradual disintegration of a large number of traditional villages means that the traditional village arts and crafts have lost their foundation and inheritance space.Rural traditional handicraft are produced on the basis of production and living practice of villagers,and are the carriers of rural collective memory and rural cultural identity.Therefore,along with the loss of the traditional village arts and crafts,the village collective memory shared by one or more generations of villagers also disappeared.In the current era of artisan spirit return,the collective memory of village traditional arts and crafts can not only preserve a common spiritual home for the villagers during the social transition,reduce the rootless feeling brought by social changes,but are also of great significance to the reproduction of the village traditional arts and crafts and rural revitalization.Based on the field investigation of M Village of Quzhou City,Zhejiang Province,the traditional handicrafts of bamboo,the most representative carrier of collective memory in rural areas,were taken as the research subject.The construction of village collective memory depends not only on the material forms such as text and landmark building as well as the non-material forms such as folklore festivals,but also on the power of multiple memory subjects such as native villagers,new villagers and governments.Therefore,with the help of the theory "Collective Memory",this thesis makes an in-depth analysis of the historical changes of the traditional bamboo handicrafts for living from the perspective of memory subject and memory carrier and concludes how the traditional bamboo handicrafts in different periods are constructed through memory subject and memory carriers.From the process of building collective memory of traditional handicrafts in M Village,it is found that the development of collective memory of traditional bamboo handicrafts for living can be said to be a concentrated epitome of the development of M Village.Finally,a tentative exploration is made on the rural traditional handicrafts reproduction path according to the law of collective memory construction in rural traditional handicrafts.In the process of reproduction of rural traditional handicrafts,we should fully stimulate the cultural consciousness of pluralistic memory subject,fully exploit the resources,and innovate the memory carrier,so as to promote the reproduction of rural traditional handicrafts and the coordinated development of the villages. |
