For the construction enterprises,the performance of the project managers is the key of the comprehensive strength and professional ability of the enterprise.A scientific and effective project manager evaluation system can often promote the successful completion of the company's project and help the company form a certain market competitive advantage.Especially in highly competitive economic environment today,perfect appraisal system can make the company overcome the adverse conditions,and strive for the realization of sustainable development in the future development process.Project managers,as the core working entities of enterprises,their attitude,enthusiasm and participation are closely related to the existence and development of the enterprise.The characteristics of the construction industry make the project management personnel evaluation too loose.In order to meet the market demand,existing performance evaluation process of the industry related enterprises need to solve the problems in project management urgently and to fully develop the staffs working enthusiasm and initiative.This paper adopts the method of literature analysis on the performance management theory,methods and tools.It also takes a questionnaire to collect relevant information for Huludao construction and installation engineering company's actual research,analyze the project management personnel performance appraisal management case of the company and find out problems.On this basis,a practical performance appraisal system is put forward based on AHP and key performance indicators and combined with the actual situation of Construction and installation engineering company.At the same time,it puts forward some suggestions on the application of the assessment results,the implementation and guarantee of the system.Through the above research,we can find that there are four problems in performance appraisal of construction and installation engineering company,including unreasonable evaluation indicators,lack of communication and feedback mechanism,unfair evaluation process and unscientific evaluation system and methods.Analysis of the project management personnel performance appraisal company characteristics and particularity,the key performance index method divides the performance dimensions of project management personnel for three primary indicators and thirteen secondary indicators.The three primary indicators include work performance,work ability and work attitude.And thirteen secondary indicators include the finishing rate of working plan,the control rate of administration expense and so on by using the analytic hierarchy process,we calculate the score weights of the three primary indicators and thirteen secondary indicators and finally establish a relatively perfect performance evaluation index system for project managers.
