The Status Quo And Influencing Factors Of Farmers' Cognition Of The Guarantee Function Of Farmland

The protection of farmland has long been the core of China's rural security system and the material and emotional dependence of Chinese peasants.However,in the course of social modernization,the rural society in our country has undergone dramatic changes,and the peasants' thinking and family structure have undergone tremendous changes.Under such a background,the guarantee function of farmland to peasants will inevitably change,and the cognition of the peasants on the function of farmland security will also change.Therefore,based on the study of farmer's awareness of the function of farmland security,based on the data of 360 sample farmers in nine village,Xiajin County,Dezhou City,Shandong Province,this paper uses questionnaires,in-depth interview research methods and SPSS statistical software to explore the peasants' willingness.With the aim of improving the utilization of farmland,maintaining the stability of farmland,promoting the transfer of farmland and implementing the policy of confirming the rights of farmland,the author will provide empirical evidence for the recognition of the function of farmland security.The conclusions and findings of this paper are as follows:First,with the improvement of the level of social modernization,peasants have a lower recognition of the security function of farmland.It can be said that the changes of peasants' farmland protection function and cognition are basically in line with the modernization of rural peasants.With the further improvement of the modernization level of peasants in our country,the peasants' understanding of the security functions of farmland is bound to change further.When the level of modernization of peasants is high enough,the material and emotional dependence upon which the agricultural land is attached to it for thousands of years will be removed,and agricultural land will then enter the agricultural land as a purely economic element,and currently exists.And most of the plight of agricultural land will be greatly alleviated.Second,the current status quo of peasants' farmland protection function mainly has three aspects.First of all,at the material security level,the material guarantee function of farmland to peasants has been weakened.Currently,farmland mainly shoulders the most basic subsistence security function,and the current farmland plays a more risk-preventative role in survival and development.Secondly,the farmer's emotional dependence on farmland is still very deep,and the traditional view of farmland protection still has a far-reaching impact on the contemporary farmer.Finally,the farmer's cognition of the function of farmland security is not an absolute understanding,but a multi-faceted collection of farmland protection function values.Third,individual modernity,family modernity,conditions of agricultural land resources,and the region will affect farmers' cognition of the function of farmland security.The concrete manifestation is that the stronger individuality of rural residents,the less they consider the security function of agricultural land.The stronger the modernity of rural households,the less the rural land has the guarantee function.The worse the rural farmland conditions are,the less they think the agro-land has the safeguard function.The peasants' cognition of the farmland protection function is different from each other.Further analysis shows that the impact of the above-mentioned factors on farmers' awareness of the function of farmland protection is not absolute,and the size of such influence is constrained by the social endowments and natural endowments in the region.Based on the above analysis,this paper argues that for a long period of time,the guarantee of farmland will still be the basis of rural social stability and peasants' development.Although farmers' awareness of the function of farmland security is affected by many factors,Social endowments and natural endowments are the main reasons that restrict the role of various factors.Establishing a perfect rural social security system is the only way to solve the current predicament of farmland.
