As the pace of "going global" has accelerated,expatriates have become an indispensable element in the management of their overseas subsidiaries by multinational corporations.Whether an employee is competent in assigning an assignment can directly affect its performance level.And selecting appropriate expatriate staff can achieve the goal of the enterprise and enhance its competitiveness.Faced with different political,legal,economic and cultural environments,expatriates face tremendous pressure and often result in low performance of expatriates and high rates of failure of assignment.Studies have shown that high level of resilience can help expatriates show better recover under high pressure,help them to complete their missions and improve their performance.However,few scholars pay attention to the research on the psychological resilience of multinational employees in China.This article will discuss the impact of the psychological resilience of Chinese expatriates on the performance level of their employees.Based on the positive psychology theory and social exchange theory,this paper takes 224 Chinese expatriates as the research object,and based on the positive literature psychology and the social exchange theory,using the four-dimensional structure of expatriate staffs psychological resilience,namely the internal control,pay attention to the coping style of problem solving,accepting and applying,the two dimensions of psychological support,acceptability and employee performance of social support,namely task performance and relationship performance.Put forward hypotheses,then used SPSS 22.0 to do the regression analysis of resilience and employee performance and draw the conclusions below:Resilience has a positive and significant effect on performance including task performance and relationship performance.The impact of various dimensions of resilience on performance is different,and the impact of acceptability on staff performance is the greatest.After understanding the current situation of the psychological resilience of Chinese expatriates and the relationship between mental resilience and employee performance,we put forward some suggestions to strengthen the psychological resilience of expatriates.It provides a reference for the personnel selection,training and development of multinational enterprises in China and provides a reference for the traditional research on human resources management.
