The topic of this paper comes from a graduate student innovation fund project during the period of study for a master’s degree that The Empirical Study of the Relationship between Task Performance and Employee Turnover Intention Based on Team Trust (No. YCJJ201218). The theoretical framework comes from two aspects mainly. Firstly, the continuous concern of tacit knowledge and its related normative research and empirical research at home and abroad during the period of study for a master’s degree. Secondly, the two research achievement including The Impact of Contextual Performance on Turnover Intention:Based on the Medium Role of Team Trust published in2013,34(3) Scientific Research Management and The Measurement of Individual Tacit Knowledge:the Preliminary Development of a Simple Scale published in2013,43(17) Mathematics in Practice and Theory.Tacit knowledge is the knowledge which is highly individual and difficult to formalize, difficult to exchange. Tacit knowledge is the huge body in Knowledge Iceberg Theory which hidden in the sea. It cannot be completely innovated, but it can make the staff and organizations to reach a higher level of performance by transformation and sharing it. The performance including the behavior oriented contextual performance and results oriented task performance. The one who has a higher performance level can get more tacit knowledge, such as more effective behavior and way of working, more harmonious relationship between employees and so on. Tacit knowledge, contextual performance and task performance can influence each other, promote each other, forming a benign circulation system which has great organization competition ability. In this paper, the structure of the arrangement is as follows.Important conclusions of the study draws on previous research results and some reliable method, putting tacit knowledge, contextual performance and task performance in a more systematical and a more deeply study. Then suitable measurement tools of tacit knowledge for the study are analyzed and compared. General level’s individual tacit knowledge measurement tool is used to test the hypothesis and to put forward suggestions combined with Structural Equation Model and Statistical Analysis Model of Multi-level Method.According to the test results given by statistical software AMOS&SAS,(1) individual tacit knowledge has a positive effect on group tacit knowledge.(2) Group tacit knowledge a positive impact on task performance.(3) Group contextual performance plays an intermediary role between group tacit knowledge and task performance.(4) Individual tacit knowledge has a positive impact on task performance through group tacit knowledge.Innovations of the research is mainly manifesed in the following four aspects:First, the research content is innovated. In the framework of human capital integration, individual tacit knowledge is putting as a staring point to the research of tacit knowledge. contextual perfomance and task perfomance while team tacit knowledge as the intermediate variable. The introduction of indivudual and team level is the innovation of the research. There is no research combine the three variables systematically so far.Second,the research paradigm is innovated. In the field of human resource management, the ralationship between different variables research paradigm are usually only on the level of indivuduals. The reseach develops new methods and means to stydy tacit knowledge and perfomance, putting indivudual level and team level into a theoretical framework, using path analysis and multi-level statistical analysisi hierarchically. The research conducting oriented performance as the focus, builds relationships with tacit knowledge model, which the division of contextual performance and task perfomance.Third, the reseach scale is innovated. To build a general individual tacit knowledge measurement tool with empirically and localized is one of the innovations and key point of this research. It is also the first phase of the study to proceed.Fourth, research method is innovated. Statistical model is established to give empirical analysis results combining structural equation analysis and multi-level statistical analysis.
