In recent years,the quality of employment has gradually attracted people's attention.Along with the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics into a new era of economic development entered a new stage,the economic development of the power driven by elements to the innovation drive,the living standards of the Chinese people also,great changes have taken place in people's income increase year by year,the quality of life improved year by year,but the need to recognize is that residents in our country's employment quality is not ascending simultaneously,and the job as an important part of people life,directly affect people's well-being.An important embodiment of employment quality of the work on time,according to the traditional theory of labor supply,with the increase of income,people's labor supply is affected by the salary will be increased after decreased first and then in China has entered the medium under the background of high income countries,according to the experience of medium high income countries,Chinese laborers work should be presented to reduce time trend,but the workers working time is too long,"excessive labor",karoshi phenomenon still exists,even more than Japan to become the world's longest-serving state,investigate its reason,is the enterprise in the pursuit of their own employees of high performance at the same time,ignore the work time this factor influence on employee job performance,wrong think "long hours = high employee performance.Employee job performance is one of the important issues of enterprise managers relationship,from Taylor's scientific management theory to Mayo hawthorne experiment,the purpose is looking for factors affecting employee performance,the performance from the results concerning the behavior theory,to the results,behavior,a comprehensive theory of experienced continuous development and improvement,as a result,employees work performance research is a timeless topic of theoretical and practical circles.Aimed at the question of working hours and work performance,this article will research its internal relations,and introduce work happiness the intermediary variable,to explore the influence of the intrinsic mechanism between work time and work performance and on this basis,comparing the old employees of the new generation employees and work time differences impact on work performance.Based on new generation employees,working hours,the concept of happiness and work performance,structure and related research review,on the basis of combining thetheory of social role and resource conservation theory,put forward the theoretical model of the relationship between work time and work performance,and proposes the corresponding research hypothesis.Based on 343 questionnaires after the collected data,has carried on the statistical analysis using SPSS21.0 and AMOS21.0,finally draw the conclusion: the duration of daily work and the inverted u-shaped relation with the employee's work performance,work and happiness play an intermediary role in the relationship,and the new generation employees in the innovation performance and learning performance is more better than the old employees,and the optimal working hours is greater than the old employees.The innovation of this paper is: firstly,the empirical test of the inverted u-shaped relationship between working hours and work performance;Secondly,it introduces the variable of work happiness,and probes into the mechanism of working time and work performance.Thirdly,it compares the differences between the new generation of employees and the old employees in the relationship between working hours and work performance,and provides a reference for managers to manage the new generation of employees.
