Research On The Transformation Mechanism Of Entrepreneurial Intention To Entrepreneurial Behavior

With the reform of economic system and the prominence of employment problem in China,developing Entrepreneurial economy has become an important driving force for China's economic and social development.The fresh graduates and alumni of colleges are important participants in innovation and entrepreneurship in our country.As they were well-educated,innovation-oriented and with professional ethics,the quantity and quality of the start-ups that they create will have significant influences on innovation which will enhance national competitiveness.However,the results of the relevant domestic investigation and practice show that the condition about entrepreneurial activity of the fresh graduates and alumni of colleges is not optimistic.They find that many individuals have entrepreneurial intention without turning to real behavior.That is to say,there is a gap between the entrepreneurial intention and behavior.This focuses on the process of the transformation from entrepreneurial intention to entrepreneurship behavior.The purpose is to find reasons for college graduates' unwillingness in setting up new business,and thus help promoting the development of entrepreneurial economy in our country.Based on the existing research,the author introduces the entrepreneurial implementation intention as a mediator and the fear of failure as the moderator,and constructs a theoretical relationship model of entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial behavior.Then this study deduces hypotheses based on the theory and literature researching.To verify the hypotheses,the author conducts a questionnaire survey.Through questionnaires,a total of 237 valid questionnaires are obtained.SPSS24.0 and Amos21.0 software are used to conduct empirical research on the results of the questionnaires to verify the hypotheses proposed in the article and obtain the final results.The results show that:(1)entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial behavior are significantly positively related;(2)entrepreneurial implementation intention plays a complete mediator role in the effect of entrepreneurial intention on entrepreneurial behavior;(3)fear of failure has a significant negative effect on the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial implementation intention;(4)fear of failure has a significant negative effect on the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial behavior;(5)entrepreneurial implementation intention mediates the interactive effect of entrepreneurial intention and fear of failure on entrepreneurial behavior such that the research model is a mediated-moderation model.This study broadens the research on the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial behavior,and reveals the transformation mechanism of entrepreneurial intention on entrepreneurial behavior from the individual level.This paper also presents some new advice for the government and the relevant departments to promote entrepreneurship among the fresh graduates and alumni of college.
