College students are the main body of the national innovation system construction, the development of social innovation and the transformation of economy are closely related to their entrepreneurial intention and abilities.Meanwhile, the problem of their entrepreneurship has also been mentioned as a very important position in the national innovation drive strategy. However, the reality is that entrepreneurial failure is a more common phenomenon than entrepreneurial success.Although entrepreneurial failure may cause great physical and mental trauma to entrepreneurs,it also brings an opportunity for self reflection and learning for them, and then enhance the success probability of subsequent entrepreneurial activities. In view of the existing literature, few scholars have explored how entrepreneurial failure attributions affect subsequent entrepreneurial intention. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to study the impact of entrepreneurial failure attribution on subsequent entrepreneurial intention, and to further analyze the role of failure learning and entrepreneurial self-efficacy in it.Based on the theory of causal attribution and experiential learning, this paper took the learning from entrepreneurial failure as the intermediary variable and the entrepreneurial self-efficacy as the moderating variable, constructed and verified the impact mechanism of college students' entrepreneurial failure attribution on subsequent entrepreneurial intention.Through the investigation of 214 college students with entrepreneurial failure experience, the structural equation is used to fit and explore the theoretical model. The main conclusions are as follows: Firstly, internality and controllability of entrepreneurial failure attribution have a significant positive impact on subsequent entrepreneurial intention, and the positive impact of stability on subsequent intention is not verified. The three dimensions of the entrepreneurial failure attribution, namely, internality, controllability and stability, all contribute directly to the two dimensions of learning from entrepreneurial failure, namely, exploitative learning and exploratory learning. The exploitative learning has a significant positive impact on subsequent entrepreneurial intention, and exploratory learning has a significant negative impact on subsequent entrepreneurial intention.Secondly, learning from entrepreneurial failure plays an intermediary role between entrepreneurial failure attribution and subsequent entrepreneurial intention.Specifically, the two dimensions of learning from entrepreneurial failure, namely, exploitative learning and exploratory learning, play a part intermediary role between internality and subsequent entrepreneurial intention, play a part intermediary role between controllability and subsequent entrepreneurial intention, and play a full mediator between stability and subsequent entrepreneurial intention.Thirdly, from the perspective of self adjustment, entrepreneurial self-efficacy plays a regulatory role between learning from entrepreneurial failure and subsequententrepreneurial intention, risk tolerance self-efficacy positively moderates the positive relationship between exploitative learning and subsequent entrepreneurial intention, risk tolerance self-efficacy and relationship self-efficacy negatively moderate the negative relationship between exploration learning and subsequent entrepreneurial intention. The conclusion of this paper has important managerial implications and guiding significance for college students' entrepreneurial practice.First of all,as the entrepreneurs, college students need to face the failures frankly, recognize the causes of failure accurately, and carry out failure learning flexibly in dynamic environment.Secondly, entrepreneurial educators need to make efforts to promote entrepreneurial failure education. Finally, entrepreneurial supporters need to pay attention to the maintenance of college students' entrepreneurial self-efficacy.
