In recent years,safety production has become a major goal of China's society with increasing attention being paid to safety issues by the government and relevant departments.Meanwhile,it has been frequent to see high employee turnover rate of front-line workers and short enterprise lifespan of in manufacturing sector,which causes employees" employment length to be short and increases the possibility of occurrence of safety accidents.For this reason,not only front-line workers' life safety can't be ensured but also manufacturing enterprises' long-term and healthy development are impacted.Unlike other manufacturing enterprises,pharmaceutical enterprises are performing many chemical and physical reactions,which calls for higher requirements for production environment and operations for pharmaceutical plants,and safety accidents and tragedies may extremely easily happen once safety management doesn't run normally.Hence,to manufacturing enterprises such as pharmaceutical factories,front-line workers' working experience directly influences the safety of production activities.Since working experience and expertise level are gained and enhanced in practical operations,the length of employment,to front-line workers,has a direct influence on production safety.However,most factories now hold no measure as a concern of safety management to deal with employees'short employment length,among which two pharmaceutical factories of A&B are included.In this regard,this paper analyzed and explored the influence mechanism of employment length on safety management and proposed measures on safety management in order to reduce the influence of employment length on safety management and lower the occurrence of safety accidents.Detailed research content:firstly,a brief introduction was given to the research subject's background and significance and research progress at home and abroad,and the main content and research thoughts and methods were summarized;secondly,the concept of safety management and theories about employment length and enterprise life span were analyzed to prepare a theoretical basis for later research;thirdly,documents about employment length and safety management were collected,sorted and analyzed,a pre-investigation and case analyses were conducted on the front-line workers of A&B pharmaceutical factories,a presumptive model of the relationship between employment length and safety management was concluded,and the questionnaire was designed;finally,the data collected by questionnaires were analyzed and used to verify the presumptive relationship,revealing key periods that the influences covered and the influence degrees at all dimensions.Through theoretical research and empirical investigation,this paper analyzed and summarized measures to handle the influence of employment length on safety management:the management's attention,the improvement of safety management system,the establishment of a stable and well-organized group of front-line workers,the setting up of a security capability evaluation system,and countermeasures against the decrease of safety awareness;meanwhile,this paper conducted a self-examination and analyzed its deficiencies,striving to perfect the safety management system of the pharmaceutical factories,enhance safety management level,and realize safe production and efficient production by this subject research,so as to promote the steady,safe and healthy development of pharmaceutical enterprises while providing crucial support for the safety and health of front-line workers.
