Study On The Development And Countermeasures Of Jasmine Tea Industry In Cangshan District Of Fuzhou

Jasmine Tea has a long history and is one of the unique Chinese tea varieties.Blending tea and jasmine flowers is the creation of Fuzhou people.Fuzhou Jasmine Tea can be named as a well-known tea variety and enjoys high popularity.In order to respond to One Belt and One Road Initiative,the Municipal Party Committee and Government of Fuzhou City make full use of the advantages of the brand name and try their utmost to build Fuzhou as the international hometown of jasmine tea with the view to improve the overall quality Fuzhou jasmine tea industry.On the basis of literature study,the paper uses questionnaire survey and in-depth interview by using the framework of the diamond model theory to study current situation of Fuzhou jasmine tea industry and the existing problems.The paper tries to put forward some suggestions and measures to improve the development of jasmine tea industry of Fuzhou as well as provides new data and case for this field of researches.The paper introduces the background and significance of the study,research methods,and technical routes.Related literature review includes the development of jasmine tea industry of Fuzhou,the problems existing in the process of industrial development,and the countermeasures for development.Through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview and by following the diamond model,the paper explores the current situation of Fuzhou jasmine tea industry in terms of production factors,related and supporting industries,firm strategy,structure and competition,opportunity,and government.Major issues are found out.The scientific contents of production factors is low featured with weak R&D.Market demand is low with the declined national consumption.The industrial scale is small with low intensity.Business strategy is not reasonable with weak management system.Market opportunities are limited with severe competition from similar products.Government fails to give full play to its service functions and quality inspection needs to be improved.In the context of the diamond model,the paper puts forward the solutions for further development of the industry.Firstly,production factors needs to be improved in terms of developing ecological tea garden,implementing revitalizing tea industry through R&D,and improving the infrastructure.Secondly,it is important to enhance demands in terms of expanding online sales,actively promoting tea culture,and satisfying the personalized need of consumers.Thirdly,it is necessary to develop relevant and supporting industries so that the value chain connection is enhanced.Fourthly,it is important to improve business strategy and structure and encourage virtuous competition in terms of building business management system and developing standardized industrial modes.Fifthly,keeping close eyes on market opportunities in terms of attaching importance to heath awareness of the public by building facilities like tea houses.Sixthly,government should play its guiding role in terms of enhancing quality inspection and protecting the technique of Fuzhou jasmine tea.
