On The Strategies Of Fuzhou Jasmine Industrialization

"No.1 Central Document" of 2015 has clearly stated that agriculture should be maintained as the foundation of the national economy. With the aim to strengthen China’s agricultural power, China should move away from extensive management methods driven by large output goals and excessive agricultural inputs practices as soon as possible, and turn to intensive development methods which advocate to put equal emphasis on both quality and quantity, and to improve agricultural competitiveness by promoting technological innovation in agriculture and mandating environmentally sustainable development, so as to explore the way for agricultural modernization which requires high efficiency, products safety, resources conservation and environment friendliness. Since 2006, Fuzhou municipal government, along with the guild of jasmine tea, has launched rescue operations for the industry of jasmine tea. At the conference which is summoned by the advisory and scientific committee of global important agriculture, UN Food and Agriculture Organization, in Rome on April 29,2014, Fuzhou Jasmine Planting and Tea Culture System was honored with a "Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System" title. This is a good opportunity to reinvigorate Fuzhou jasmine tea industry. So, the research on the industrialization of Fuzhou jasmine has significant theoretical and practical meaning in developing Fuzhou jasmine tea culture, reinvigorating the traditional advantageous industry, bolstering the image of Fuzhou city and promoting the quick and sustainable development of Fuzhou agricultural and rural economy.There are totally seven chapters in the thesis, the main content are as follows:Chapter One is Introduction, which involves the rationale and values of the current research, literature review, as well as the research methods and content.Chapter Two is a brief review to Fuzhou jasmine, which mainly introduces the history of Fuzhou jasmine tea culture, analyzes the current situation of Fuzhou jasmine industrialization, and points out the main problems existing in the industrialization of Fuzhou jasmine.Chapter Three analyzes the conditions for the industrialization of Fuzhou jasmine. The species of jasmine, as well as the regional and social conditions, embodies the advantages for its industrialization.Chapter Four elaborates the system of jasmine planting, processing, selling and development in Hengxian county, Guangxi province, summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of jasmine industrialization in Hengxian county, and then draws implications for Fuzhou jasmine industrialization.Chapter Five proposes the guiding lines and general ideas for Fuzhou jasmine industrialization.Chapter Six tries to bring forward the solutions for the problems existing in Fuzhou jasmine industrialization. For instance, to speed up the ecological construction of planting area, to accelerate the alliance and reorganization of enterprises, to establish the developing system for jasmine products, to work out competitive project so as to explore the high-end market and to develop industrial culture so as to further boost the core competency.Chapter Seven is the conclusion part.
