Analysis Of The Influencing Factors Of The Location Of A Bank Suzhou Branch

With the deepening of the reform of financial system in China,the competition in domestic banking industry is becoming increasingly fierce.Bank outlets are still crucial for seizing customer resources and market shares.In this situation,the location of bank outlets directly affects its operating efficiency.Therefore,how to conduct location selection scientifically and efficiently has been an important issue for domestic banking industry.Hence,the analysis of the influencing factors of the location of commercial banks,especially the quantitative analysis,is particularly significant.Taking the influencing factors of the location of A Bank Suzhou branch as the research object,this paper expounds the relevant theories and research methods of the location selection of commercial banks,and reviews the previous research ideas and results.On this basis,the paper introduces the present situation of A Bank Suzhou branch network layout,analyzes the existing problems and the causes of them.The article finds out the specific influencing factors of the location of the bank,and thus constructs the index system for site selection of A Bank Suzhou branch.The system consists of five indicators: regional development planning,distribution of financial resources,horizontal competition,geographical location and traffic convenience,property factors,and nineteen sub indicators.Through the investigation by questionnaire,these indicators are ordered according to importance,and then the influence degree of each indicator is analyzed with AHP.Based on the analysis results,the location selection model of A Bank Suzhou branch is established.In the end,the full text is summarized,reaches some conclusions and the shortcomings of this paper are also stated.Meanwhile,it looks forward to the future research of location of commercial outlets.
