The uneven distribution of innovation output is widespread throughout the world, and it is no exception for China's high-tech industries.Innovation output in the Pan-Pearl River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta region is significantly higher than that in other regions, and places where innovation is concentrated are often also Where industrial agglomeration occurs, the development of economic globalization has made the division of production factors more clear. In areas where natural production factors are convenient to access, the first phenomenon of industrial agglomeration has emerged.More and more specialized enterprises have formed a cluster. The unique advantages of these regions have quickly become the leading technology sites for global science and technology, and they have achieved continuous innovation in the industry and continued transformation of results, bringing together a steady stream of scientific and technological resources,so that innovation is also concentrated in these places. In view of the agglomeration and uneven output of China's high-tech industry, this paper uses it as an example to study the effect of industrial agglomeration on innovation output.Firstly, the externalities of MAR externality,Jacobs externalities, and Porter externalities of the dynamic externality theory segmentation are introduced. The predecessors' research results in this area are summarized, and the effects of agglomeration on innovation are analyzed for different periods and industries. The effect is also different. Therefore, this paper analyzes the mechanism of the influence of specialization and diversity agglomeration on innovation,ie,professional agglomeration influences innovation through formal or informal knowledge spillovers, competition from similar enterprise agglomerations, and exchanges and cooperation among enterprises. And diversity agglomeration promotes innovation by satisfying the diversity of preferences and creating a diversity of environments and complementarities between technologies.Based on these theoretical analysis, this chapter puts forward two hypotheses:First, specialized agglomeration is conducive to innovation output;Second, diversified agglomeration can also promote the increase of innovation output. In order to verify the above assumptions, this paper measures specialization agglomeration degree, diversification agglomeration level and competition degree of agglomeration by designing specialization index, diversification index and competition index, and uses patent numbers to measure the innovation output of the conglomerate and join The population size of the region, the number of R&D personnel input, and the amount of foreign direct investment were used as control variables. Then through the expansion of the endogenous growth model, the above index was added as a variable to the model, and the regression model of this paper was established.Through the regression of the panel data of China's high-tech industries in the 24 provinces from 2005 to 2014,this paper draws the following conclusions:First, the innovation output has obvious endogeneity, and professional agglomeration and diversified agglomeration are of high-tech industry in China. In terms of innovation output,it has a significant role in promoting, and the competition generated by agglomeration has no significant effect on innovation output. The level of agglomeration of high-tech industries in China still falls into a low level of agglomeration, and professional gatherings and gatherings are of high technology. The level of innovation in the industry has a greater positive impact.Although diversity agglomeration also has some impact on innovation output, the overall effect is small.Second, for each subdivided industry,MAR externalities are in the computer and office equipment manufacturing industry. In the manufacturing industry of medical devices and instrumentation, there will be a positive effect on innovation output. The role in the electronics and communications equipment manufacturing industry is not obvious, and there is a significant negative effect in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and aviation, spacecraft and equipment manufacturing industries.Effect, and in these two industries, the competition produced by agglomeration also has a significant negative effect, indicating that in these two industries Vicious competition still exists.Gathering of similar enterprises does not produce active exchanges and cooperation. In addition to the role of Jacobs externalities in medical instrumentation and instrumentation manufacturing industries,it is positive for the innovation output of the other four industries.Thirdly, for each economic region, specialized agglomeration has a positive effect on the innovation output of key economic regions, but the effects are uneven, and diversification has accumulated in the Pan-Pearl River Delta region and the Yangtze River Delta region. The positive impact has a negative impact on the Northeast and Central Plains regions. This shows that in the Yangtze River Delta region and the Pan-Pearl River Delta region, there are many exchanges and cooperation between high-tech industries that can promote each other, while in the Northeast and In the Central Plains region,high-tech industries have less exchanges and cooperation with each other, and they share public resources and have a negative effect.Competition resulting from agglomeration has a negative impact on innovation output in the Northeast and Central Plains, and in the Yangtze River. The role of the delta and the Pan-Pearl River Delta region is not obvious. It shows that the competition between high-tech companies in the Northeast and Central Plains regions is fierce, and the scale of the companies is small.
