Enterprise culture is the characteristic concept,norms and all the members'common values of an enterprise in the long-term manufacturing management activities.In the 21st century,business management went into the management of the cultural stage.However,the company didn't have clear understandings for the development of its own enterprise culture,and for whether the aspects of their enterprise culture suited to the current development of company and market competition environment or not.This situation leaded to useless of corporate culture,and the corporate culture was unable to play its real role.Compared to other industries,the retail industry has its distinctiveness.Retail enterprises provided services to consumers to achieve effective communication with consumers.While the right enterprise culture can enhance employees' sense of ownership,directly improve the quality of service,and improve satisfaction of customer,and then effectively increase the sales of retail enterprises.Therefore,in the process of enterprise development,it is necessary to assess enterprise culture regularly,which can provide the basis for adjustment of development strategies for enterprises.This paper reviews the theory and research of corporate culture and corporate culture assessment.In this paper,we took the H retail enterprise as the investigated subject of corporate culture,and based on Quinn's the competing values framework(OCAI scale)with questionnaire method to assess the SY company's enterprise culture.Then this article drew up the strategy to promote the SY company's enterprise culture combined with the principle of enterprise culture construction and the overall corporate strategy of SY company.Through assessment and analysis,the enterprise culture type of SY company is hierarchy enterprise culture.Stringent regulations and cumbersome work-flow to a certain extent hindered the development and creativeness of employees,reduced staff centripetal force,and reduced overall employee morale and loyalty,so it is difficult to ensure the quality of service to consumers.In accord ing to the assessment results,H companies can increase the content of enterprise culture strategy,and enhance the development of company's enterprise culture around the layers of cultural,the layer of institutional behavior,and the layer of symbolic.In this paper,we assesses and analyzes the case of H corporate culture,and deepens the understanding of enterprise culture and evaluation theory of enterprise culture,and strengthens the guiding effect of this theory,and provides theoretical support and important reference for the future enterprise culture instrument of SY company.At the same time,this paper also provides some application reference value for the diagnostic evaluation of the corporate culture.
