Reducer is a new joint deceleration transmission mechanism which widely used in industrial robot products.Reducers in the domestic market demand are expanding because of the market demand for industrial robots increased rapidly.However,our country's research on reducer started late,the current lack of reducer production cost calculation methods and related control strategies,resulting in enterprises cannot accurately account and effectively reduce the reducer production costs.This artilce is based on China 863 Research Project:"Development and Application Demonstration of Reducer Used in Robots",RV-20E reducer produced by SH as the research object.The main work and research results of this paper are as follows:(1)Completed the production cost calculation modeling work of the reducer.Analyzed the working principle of the product,the composition of the structure and self-made parts processing technology,completed the cost calculation modeling work of processes,parts and production.Based on customers' demand,the production cost calculation method was proposed.(2)Developed manufacturing costing system.Developed costing system which integrated the modeling of costing calculation and cost item data,included Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 for the programming language,Microsoft Access 2010 as the background database.(3)Research on manufacturing cost control strategy.Started customers' demand research and quantified the relationship between customers' needs and product characteristics.Used QFD as the core theory to determine customer satisfaction RV-20E reducer product performance design,and then completed the location of components and the process of self-made parts to ensure products could achieve production.The production cost calculation system was used to calculate the production cost of the alternative product quality scheme.Through the cost-price analysed,the existing scheme was improved and the optimal cost-effective production scheme was determined.Finally,the summary of the study was summarized into the regular clauses as production cost control strategies of RV-20E reducer which were put forward.In this paper,the reducer manufacturing cost calculation method fully took into account the customer's demand for the product.Computational modeling was based on actual cost items,the modeling process was scientific and reasonable,and the calculation result was accurate and effective.Control strategies were based on the methods and measures which given by the strict reasoning analysis and measured data statistics,so the guiding value of the production is great for SH company.It is hoped that the work done in this paper will provide reference for the research of other models of SH company to help enterprises get more profit.
